Justice Marshall's most famous opinion IMO.
Justice Potter Stewart's dissent is the stuff of legends though. His insights into quantum theory still have ramifications in both law and science to this day.

For the same reason Marty McFly's dad never questioned why his son is a dead ringer for the Calvin dude his wife knew in high school.
George and Lorraine knew Marty for about a week in 1955, there were no pictures of him, they really were only around him for maybe 24-48 hours worth of time during that week, and Marty wouldn't have started to look like "Calvin" until he was maybe 13-14 years old which would be roughly 25 years later.
Do you really think you could remember what a random kid look like who was at your school for such a short amount of time 25 years later if you hadn't even seen a picture of him since a school dance that your biggest memory of is punching out/being saved from a rapist bully and scoring with your future spouse? shite, I can barely remember some people from college who I would have known the entire time I was there, hung out with a decent amount of time, and for all I know am still linked to via Facebook.

If a picture of Calvin turned up, Lorraine would have some explaining to do to George, that's for sure.

No, not at all. I am talking about one person per year from the same company office. I think that is pretty crazy.
In her defense 3-4 could have all been at the same Christmas party and she’s calmed down since then lol

Probably since that random kid is the one who helped me set everything up to land my future spouse, but I have a good memory

I always get her and Margaret Colin from Independence Day confused...

Exactly. At the end of the movie she's like "Oh you! You little scamp! Got all up in these guts didn't ya, ya little rascal.
I'm still a bit smitten even though you're 13."
Back in the 80s this was cute. Now it just seems pretty weird man. Shouldn't she have been like "JESUS frickING CHRIST WHAT HAVE I DONE. Magic has just taken place??? Did God want me to commit statutory rape?????????? WHY???"
Correct. I don't blame her for banging him. She was a sloot and he was the new penis in town. And I assume Tom Hanks was considered a good looking dude.
But once she found out she should have been mortified. And she should have immediately chased him down and threatened his life if he ever told anyone about what they did. Or the flip side to it, if Josh really wanted to he could have blackmailed her into doing whatever he wanted or go to the police.
I am now questioning if it was confirmed that Josh told Billy anything or not. I assume he did since they were best friends, and at the end when Susan sees Billy on the street (I love how he just happens to be getting a hot dog right then) and tells him she's Josh's girlfriend, he just kinda goes Ew (or something like that). So I guess Billy knows as well.

Also...this is a pretty good over-analyzing thread, home Alone style
It'll never match my efforts in that thread though. I did some serious calculations and wasted lots of time on that one.

But we know now that 20 and 30-something women have zero issues sexing up 13 year olds, as exposed by teacher/student relationships. Ho-ness knows no bounds or morals or ages. Sure, Susan dodges the kiss at the end, but did you see how Susan caressed Josh's face before he gets out of the car? That's not a mother/son caress. That's an "I'm not really ashamed to admit I enjoyed your 13 year old dick" caress. She even does a little subtle lip-bite.
Had the movie been set in 2020, instead of Josh turning around and waving at the end, he'd have whipped out his phone and snapped a picture of her and posted it on Snapchat saying, "Just banged this milf." Next thing you know Susan is on the Daily Mail.

First it was Tom Caulfield, then Handlen. Then Golding, then me! Am I missing somebody?
But Josh was different. He really cared about her and even though she may have jumped on him because he was successful, she really fell for him.
One of our posters was asking for movies to watch with his daughter in the last week. I wanted to say Big, until I remembered this hook up. The movie didn't really need him having sex. I guess it's just a reflection of those wonderful pre-herpes and pre-aids, 1980's that preceded this movie.
