I think about this a lot actually. I can never decide between Rocky I, Rambo I, and Rambo 2. Rocky I and Rambo I are classics for good reason but Rambo II is the quintessential 80’s action movie.

The rest of his movies were super cheesy, but that isn't his fault, that was the cheesy 80's movie style in a nutshell.

I liked the Stallone's Get Carter. Michael Caine's is good too. but the bad guys in Stallone's movie are better.
