Timothy Hutton in Everybody's All-American was another bad one.

I would have thought Bernthal playing a coonass would be a stretch. The accent isn’t great but he does kinda look like he could be from south Louisiana

Quaid was legendarily bad.

Anyone watch Filthy Rich? Seems like aside from Cattrall's over the top southern belle accent. Which is probably over the top on purpose, the rest aren't as bad as i expected.

1-Carrie Fisher in Star Wars. She goes from terrible forced accent to none at all in about 10 scenes.

2- Brad Pitt in “The Devils Own” is another bad one that always sticks out in my mind. He either chokes himself up with some random emotion or whispers to lesson how bad it is. (His Jamaican accent in Meet Joe Black is so bad it borders on offensive too)

3- tie between Gerard Butler in any American role and the entire cast of Valkyrie. Butler sounds like he has a mouth full of food and still can’t hide his accent when he plays an American and though 95% of the cast from Valkyrie is supposed to be German they all speak with accents from everywhere else.

I've got a best and worst both from Peaky Blinders:

WORST Luca Changretta, (Adrien Brody): it's like a bad version of the godfather LINK

BEST Alfie Solomons (Tom Hardy): Even though you can hardly understand him

Good choices but I did like Brody as a villain. He wasn’t cast correctly but I find he’s very natural as a villain. Hardy’s great, there’s an old short series called “The Take” he’s young in it but he plays a psychotic gangster and he’s outstanding in the role.

Oh, I agree with you. I really liked that storyline, it just took getting over his accent.

He’s a good actor he’s just been pigeonholed as a lady’s man or good guy most of the time. I liked his character in “Summer of Sam” and what he did in “Peaky Blinders” more than most of what I’ve seen from him. To me he’s best as an outsider or antagonist.

I’ll nominate Nicholas Cage for his Alabama accent in Con Air.
It was so bad but at the same time sooooo good
