i haven't seen it since it aired originally (damn almost 20 years ago????) but watching it now and on season 3 and i don't remember about 75% of what happened.

i also seem to be paying much more attention this time around because the story arc is actually very good. the first time i thought there was some lazy writing but its pretty damn great.

RIP pegasus

I've watched it three times over the last 15 years or so and, when I found that it's on the NBC app, I instinctively started watching again. It just never seems to get old...

that doesnt really cover it.

[spoilers]

credit both adamas. if lee hadn't come up with the brilliant idea to leave the vipers to protect the fleet and sacrifice pegasus the fleet would have been left without its greatest military mind in bill adama. sure he was trying to save his dad but it was actually the right thing to do for the surviving fleet long term.

but watching it now and on season 3

Well that's why. It's great until it's not.

I’ve watched it four times.

It never disappoints. One of my favorite shows ever made.

Here's the correct viewing order. There should only be two movies unless you are counting the version of the mini series that combines both episodes into a 3 hour movie.

When this show was on Netflix, I decided to give it a try. I watched the first episode, and liked it enough to continue. The next day Netflix dropped the show. Looks like its on Hulu now.

I've watched it 3 full times through now I think?

And then I've seen numerous YouTube clips and the live score performances by Bear. fricking love this show.

If there hadn't been a writer's strike, and on slippery cancellation notice many times, it'd be an easy top 3 show ever put on cable. The ensemble cast is one of the best around.

*Was a teenager through it's original run. I wanted to smash me some Starbuck something fierce. Or have her smash me ala death by SnuSnu.

Granted the show isn't call Battlestar Pegasus, but executing a plan that ultimately sacrifices a desperately needed capital ship of the latest generation of Colonial ship design is a galactic blunder (no pun intended) for which there is no equal in all of the annuals of sci-fi warfare.

FWIW: Resurrection Ship Part 2 might be the greatest episode of TV sci-fi ever written. It has the best battle scene between capital ships in sci-fi television, if not cinema. The background score is perfect, and every story-line presented in the episode (Lee, 7 & Balter, the showdowns in the CIC) was exceptionally written.

Netflix dropped it when I was watching it. I need to finish it. I loved it. I got to where they found out the Asian chick was a robot and they went back to the planet and saw the robots impregnating the humans.
