anyone notice Gene mention the 250k to vanity fair? that will come back to bite him in the arse. his son might lose the house.

I think this all ends with Gene no longer teaching and Sally becoming the teacher.

I get that. I used to wait for the 1st season then binge right before the 2nd came out. Barry is a little different. Some episodes need to simmer a few days.

The best part of that sequence was Gene still had 6-7 envelopes of clues to set up but he was too slow.

Can you connect the dots for me on this? Obviously I need to go back and rewatch season 2.

the bomb job. Barry gave Gene the money as a gesture for killing Janice. Gene then gave it to his son to buy a house.

Gene is just rubbing me wrong at this point. I understand busting Barry but part of me just wants to see him get his arse kicked a little bit for being a bit full of himself.

Also, I absolutely love Sally's mom and her just "whatever" attitude over Sally losing her shite. That's a woman that has seen that one too many times.

Interesting perspective. I took that as her mom's attitude was a big reason that Sally is the way she is.

The mom definitely drove Sally to be a super-needy actress-person.

I suspect it’s a little bit of both.

The Dad came off as really enabling as well.

I think it’s both. That attitude is definitely a reason Sally is who she is. At the same time her mom doesn’t react to her crazy because she’s seen it 1000 times

That scene was absolutely fascinating to me, because I sorta dated a girl very similar to Sally for a while, and dammit if her mom didn’t treat her exactly like Sally’s mom did in that scene.

Any similarities to Barry, on my part, are purely coincidental.

Fred’s face was one of the funniest moments of physical comedy I’ve seen in a long time.

What a cameo. Wasn’t expecting that.

Great ending to the episode.
