Oh btw, did you catch the very brief Gwyneth Paltrow cameo in Ep. 4? She's not even credited, but it's definitely her.

I bought it and I have watched it 3 times. I have let other people watch it and if your into war, just a good story it will attract you. By the end you feel like you know these people and then to see who is still alive today it was kinda wow moment. Especially knowing some family who were not so lucky to come home.

No, but I saw Jimmy Fallon's small part last night.

Thought he was horrible.

Well, it WAS Jimmy Fallon.

He should have stuck to SNL, had some funny bits there.

I hear ya....I kept waiting for him to start giggling in the middle of his lines.

Yeah, as usual. It's hard to represent the way he delivered his lines in print, but he kept emphasizing the wrong word of every sentence, like, "Okay, but I can't promise anything." He must be real fun at Hollywood coke parties, because he sucks all the way to the bank.

Paltrow is one of the women in Ep. 4 who gets her head shaved for sleeping with the Germans. She's the one holding the baby, standing on the side of the road when the patrol passes her. They give her a carton of cigarettes or something, right before the shooting starts. I don't know if the baby was her real baby or not.

Are you sure that's Paltrow? I need to watch that one again. I don't think it's her.

If it's not, it's a woman who looks exactly like her. She's not credited, as I said, but that's not uncommon for actors doing tiny parts like that.

And it makes sense. Steven Speilberg is a longtime family friend of hers. Check it out again. It's pretty clear.

This is the most overrated mini-series ever.

I just wanted to say that because I am not sure anyone ever has.

You suck at life.

What is a better mini-series in your eyes?

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic.

If not, he does suck at life.

A buddy of mine gave me his band of brothers box set to watch while I am off of work. Is it really as good as people say it is?

Well Partner...there's a reason for that...that being that the statement is so utterly WRONG, as to be beyond belief.

I just wanted to say that because, well gee...that's the truth.

Yes.

The movie is very good, and the interviews with those who were there is excellent and gut wrenching. It will make you appreciate what those of "The Greatest Generation" did to save the world from Nazi fascism.

Watch it.

just got finished watching about 4 episodes, That is one of the greatest shows I have ever seen. It really brings to lite the sacrifices those men made so we could be free. But It brings up a question. How would they feel about America today?
