Bad storylines in otherwise great shows (spoilers)

What’s a show that you think is great but had/has a storyline you can’t stand?
I’ll nominate The Americans and Nina Sergeevna‘s storyline in Russia. I loved her story working as a double/triple agent and all that stuff in America, but I found myself not caring about her story in Russia, what purpose did it even serve? Also everything that happened to her was her own fault which she even admitted so I never really felt bad for her. I wasn’t even upset when she was executed, I mean she committed treason at least twice.

Andy/Erin in The Office.
Also Andy becoming manager too (which trickles into Andy/Erin anyway).
Pam/sound guy several-episode arc in The Office as well. Just completely unnecessary and stupid.
Also Will Ferrell's entire existence on the show.
Although at least with that they were trying to fill the Steve Carrell void, so I get it...it was just pretty stupid.

One of the lowest points of the series, second only to the dumbfrick writers that thought erasing Sarah’s memories of Chuck was a cool thing to do after all the shite they had to go through to end up together in the first place.
