In living Color was on Sundays, so Mondays we were talking about it. The first two seasons are awesome.

I can't tell how long ago they were but I know they were made after I stopped watching in the mid 90s.

Another good couple were the Bill Burr Sam Adams Beer mock ads.

You add so much to the discussion. You’re truly a jewel in the M/TV Board crown.

My neighbor used to have a "The Best of Eddie Murphy" VHS tape growing up. We would watch that shite on repeat. So many great skits like Mr White, the hot tub, Mr Robinson's neighborhood... it was the best.

The recent Gillis episode had some funny moments. This one cracks me up…

I'm old enough to have watched season one live and I would say since the early 80's people have been saying "Back when Saturday Night Live was actually funny".

And watching an episode from season one back recently, There were about 4 skits where there was almost no laughter. So alot like today more skits seemed to be not successful that one's that were.....just my observation.

Exactly. People that say “back when it wuz funny” haven’t watched a full older episode in a while. Most of the skits weren’t good. You just forgot about those.

What an educated take. By the way that scar is from when she was five years old and attacked with a knife.

I’ve never noticed the scar.

But she was an awful head writer. I just think she isn’t good at sketch comedy. 30 Rock was a much better show for her.
