I'm in. Downey's accent as Doom looks great.

Going to be interesting how they merge all the worlds together.

No desire to see this. So many characters no one cares about in this movie compared to infinity wars and Endgame

so Thor get his arse kicked by Thanos and Dr Doom.

And he won’t really get his arse kicked because the Avengers will win in the end.

What are the stakes here?

Thanos had a great motive. He had to procure the infinity stones which could be crafted into a weapon of godlike power because he wanted to kill half the universe so it could thrive.

That’s a great villain. Great backstory. Slow buildup.

Doom is…doom. Somehow more powerful than Thanos with the stones?

Doomsday is going to have to do a lot of heavy lifting at the start to build the stakes. Because right now, it just seems like an overpowered bad guy the Avengers will figure out how to kill in 1-2 movies.

I hope it’s great. If Marvel had just kept to the proven method of printing billion dollar movie checks I would have stayed interested. But that’s not how it played out.

They clearly hope this can bring back their mojo, but I suspect this is just going to be their one last dead cat bounce of a good movie.

They need to take a break with the multiverse ensemble movies. Do x-men and some good standalone movies. Wait a while, and do the big ensemble movie after they’ve built back some fan trust and it’ll be more shocking to see some of these characters return.

Way too many characters to keep up with in these avengers movies
It’s why Spider-Man works because it focuses more on the characters

When you're relying on that much trash CGI, you might as well just commit and make the whole film animated.

The leaks are true

I’m so sick of seeing Thor get his arse waxed by the big bad, but yet they’ll have Yelena get some kicks and damage in on Doom

Movie board is a tough crowd. That trailer looks great to me. I'm excited.

This and Secret Wars will probably be the end of multiverse stuff at least for a good while. It's been pretty much confirmed that SW will bring about a sort of reset to the MCU. First movie we're getting post Secret Wars is the X Men movie with the crew that was announced yesterday so hoping next phase is heavy on the X Men.

That being said I'm extremely interested in how they going to pull off these next two movies considering the comic source they're pulling from. If they nail it it'll be the most unique and probably coolest any comic book movie has ever done.

Just so done with superhero movies, myself. Tired of 95% of it being CGI. Tired of the thunderous musical scores to emphasize "seriousness" or "dramatic" moments.

It's just been done so many times, many of them either outright bad, or boring, or politically tinged that it's lost its appeal to me.

They need to start killing off a lot more characters.

Yep. Raise the stakes.

But they're doing the opposite.

Captain America's "no, I don't think I will"? Meant nothing.

Half the universe snapped? They're coming back.

Tony Stark makes the ultimate sacrifice? Well he's back as Doom.

I think the best scene to represent the multiverse era was in Loki when the TVA guy had a bunch of infinity stones in the desk drawers. Like, yeah, everybody has some because they don't matter at all.

Hopefully Secret Wars accomplishes a reset for the MCU. I do like superhero movies. They can be fun. But that fun goes away when it's the same damn ride every time.
