My comic book knowledge only goes up through the early 90's, but it seems as if Doom evolved into some sort of sorcerer, in addition to scientific genius & king. The over-powered Doom may be in keeping with more recent comic storylines.

Screw the Marvels and Captain America Brand New World. Previews looked like shite which is why I never watched them to begin with.
