I think we weren’t supposed to understand her as part of her character. Reminded me of calamity Jane from Deadwood only with Jane, her grammar wasn’t that bad so if you could make out a word or two and contrast against what whoever she was to talking was saying you could make it out. Btw you’re right about the Worm, wtf even is her accent and she’s the most ridiculous character on the show. If she wasn’t a girl she’d have been dead by S2 Ep3

I still haven’t been able to finish season 2. Absolute trash. Season 1 wasn’t good either

Smith, Considine and Ifans carried season 1 plus Alcock and Carey did a great job as the young versions of Alicent and Rhaenyra. In S2 all the stars were sidelined and while Cooke is very good, her counterpart is not plus the writing was awful.

Watching S2 E5 now, Rhaeyra pissing and moaning in the White Worms ear and making a strategy based on the Worm just guessing is nauseating. Simply because she doesn’t want to listen to the men.

The entirety of her character is her complaining to her council and asking them "what would you have me do?!" before continuing to do absolutely nothing.
She's somehow supposed to be an amazing queen and the best ruler Westeros could hope for, yet she's completely incapable of controlling any of the people around her or making her own decisions and nothing bad that happens is her fault.

This is just true to source though. In season/book one she beat the Knight of Flowers straight up. Loras Tyrell was much better as a swordsman than he was portrayed in the show. She beat an injured Jamie and then she beat a not 100% Hound. That fight was one of the better fights of the later seasons. I would maybe disagree but most would say that if Sandor was fully healthy he would have beat her. Brienne was the exception to the rule. The story is filled with badass male fighters and literally one girl fighter.

She blames Daemon for blood and cheese even though she ordered it and the Worm set it up. She rewards the Worm and chastises Daemon. It’s so stupid

The Worm reminded me of Max from Black Sails' accent.
