I'm a fan of his work yet I don't like all his films.
Me too. A good example for me are the grind house films. I loved Death Proof and disliked Planet Terror.

Add that to the list. Forgot he did that one.

Robert Rodriguez wrote and directed Planet Terror.

Why do you dislike IB? Just trying to get an understanding for where your position is coming from.

I was adding it to the list of movies I liked of his. Come on brother, keep up.

My bad
I personally love his stuff. I love movies that never take themselves too seriously. DJANGO is one of my personal favorites of all time. I thought it was splendidly done.

Just messing with you.
I like most of his stuff, just some stuff is too ridiculous.

Understandable. That is one of the reasons I love them. He brings the absolutely absurd into relatively normal scenarios.
I.e. Christolph Waltz's pipe in IB.

I LOVE me some Tarantino. I think all of his movies are 8/10 or better except Death Proof. IMO he didn't put much of an effort in that film.
9/10....Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained
8/10....Jackie Brown, Kill Bill (both), Inglourious Basterds
6/10....Death Proof
Screenplay only:
8/10....True Romance
7/10....From Dusk Till Dawn
*I don't count Natural Born Killers because Oliver Stone only kept the story....not the screenplay.

It's Tarantino fans that blurt out stuff like this during casual conversation that make me roll my eyes.
It's like people that still make the Royal with Cheese joke when they see a McDonald's.
I guess I find it chalkboard scratching that the great lines from Tarantino films are not the one's that became famous. It's goofy lines like this that did.

I don't see any film based on who is attached to it.
I like most of Tarantino's flicks
IG probably the one I cared for the least. Haven't seen everything he's done cause again, I don't really roll that way

I think he badly needs a new set of friends.

Yeah, Res Dogs is the ONLY one I like. He is so overrated. Kill Bill was ok

They are repeated because they are generally short, easy to remember, and funny. Not surprising. That is generally how quotes work.

I agree that the "quotes" are not as impressive as the flow of his dialogue (which is very clever).

Count me as one that hates his arse. His films are the most overrated pieces of dog shite I've ever seen.
