Best of luck to Nolan in attempting to one-up The Dark Knight, Joker, and Two-Face with this piece of shite...

Jeesh...why don't you wait until you see exactly what Nolan is going to do first?

Then what is the point of calling him Bane? In all of Bane's renditions, his number one defining quality has been addiction to "venom". Bane without the juice, is not Bane.

Ra's wasn't immortal in Batman Begins, and the Joker's origins aren't the same as they are in the comics to where his skin isn't bleached. Its no more of a stretch just to remove the Venom from Bane. He's fairly easily adaptable in Nolan's universe.

After TDK, this film needs a character like Catwoman to add some levity/fun.

What and go back to Adam West's "BANG! POW! BAM!" Batman? Its usually not a good idea to change the tone completely midway through a trilogy. Its always been disastrous.

If Nolan's going to use the character, it would be a mistake to not address the eroticism between Kyle and Bruce/Batman. I find it funny that in Nolan's "real" world, sex is practically non-existant.

Obviously there is going to be sexual tension between the two, but this doesn't leave any reason why they should have cast Talia or Vicky Vale instead of Kyle.

quote:

and Im calling bullshite on Hardy as Bane. Nolan has been so secretive in the past, why would he reveal the villains before a frame of the film has been shot? I think this is some kind of set-up for another viral campaign or something.

Its confirmed. This is not debatable.

I had really hoped that the Riddler was the villian, with Robin Williams playing.

I'd frick Anne Hathaway any day of the week and twice on Sunday, but the Catwoman was always a second tier villian.

I'd still like to hear from Nolan why he didnt want to use the Riddler. I'd odd having the Joker and Two-Face in this trilogy but no Riddler.
