It better be an actual re-adaptation and not some modern bullshite take.

I forgot how much I loved the animaniacs.

ETA: that’s a major brand that sunk into the ether

Modern figures I’d like to see the Warner Bros (and the Warner sister) go after:

Kim Jong Un
Xi Jinping
Brie Larson
Lebron James
Ted Cruz
Ellen Degenres
Boris Johnson
Justin Trudeau
Shia Labeouf

And I’m sorry this is still one of the greatest jokes of all time.

“I found Prince!”
“No, no, no, fingerprints!”
“..........I don’t think so.”

You know the writers were proud of that one and dumbfounded that passed the censors.

One of the smartest kid shows ever made, all wrapped up in seemingly inane comedy. Truly brilliant.

I have a tough time believing they can recapture that.

And then Freakazoid came right after it (made by the same people I think) was a close second in terms of smartness.

Hell, a few of those later 80's and early 90's cartoons were very clever with adult humor while also still made for children. Tiny Toons also comes to mind.

ETA: And now that I think about it, all three of those shows were Spielberg.

Rob Paulsen is likely the nicest guy on the planet, and if he doesn't take the cake, Bob Bergen (Porky Pig) would.

Animaniacs sealed my desire to get into voice acting, and getting to train with both guys above was amazing.

Hot, Bothered & Bedeviled is likely my favorite short from them.

The snowball joke "I knew it never had a chance", to the Kierkegaard line back at the Devil, it really proved the writers' kung fu.

That looks like fun. I was in college and made it a point to watch whenever I could.

Yakko's countries of the world song; Wacko's states & capitals song; Goodfeathers... all makes me laugh just thinking about it.

Rob still does that live at practically every performance/speaking gig he does. Throat cancer, and all.
