Chris Watts doc on Netflix. Anyone watch? I have some thoughts, but I'll wait until others weigh in.

The drone shots on Netflix docs sticks out like a sore thumb now 
Felt like they could’ve wrapped up the show in 30 minutes and fluffed up an extra hour of content out of it.
I cracked up when they used the “DAYS MISSING” counter that Netflix has used for numerous other docs but in this case the entire thing happened over 4 days

My observation is that Chris Watts and his wife were a stereotypical oilfield family in a shite ton of debt with at least one bankruptcy.

I enjoyed it. I had never heard of this case before this. Dude needs to be put down.

I liked how much of the story was told through police body cam. Guy was clearly guilty as hell. Really wish we could've gotten more body shots of the mistress, seems like she had quite the body on her

Overall the most “enjoyable” part of this doc was that it was completely told through real time video and TV interviews/Facebook videos and not by someone’s uncle talking in a dramatic Netflix interview

Anyone else find it odd that she talked shite about her husband on social media? Like, the Santa thing she was videoing and then walked off and said to her "facebook live" that he never listens. And then she's shocked when he doesn't want to sleep with her.
Of course, she didn't deserve to be murdered. Just an observation.

Dude was a monster who deserves death, and the wife did not deserve to be killed, but some of her text messages were crazy.

She overshared too much on social media and with her friends. Maybe he saw all that shite and got pissed.
I think his plan was to just kill the wife and take the kids and live life with the gf, but then the kid walked in on him doing the deed.
Really, though. What was the plan? Kill the wife and then tell the gf, "My wife is gone. Where did she go? Why don't you not worry about it, sweetie?"

it was gloriously trashy. Sad the kids were murdered but both of the adults were horrible shitty people. Not saying the wife should have been murdered but she was horrible as was he.

I watched it yesterday. I’ll be honest. The dude is the biggest piece of shite for killing his family. But the wife did herself no favors. Nobody deserved to die. But she came off as a massive bitch.
