Jess and her fist pumps made me uncomfortable and I just felt sorry for her, they weren't even on the beat. For someone with such a good voice she has zero rhythm.
Jena - not my favorite by her but it was ok.
Alex - did a good job but with him it's wash rinse repeat.
Round 2
Caleb - Motherfrickin CCR!!!!! I thought he did outstanding and definitely won the round.
Jess - As soon as she said she was doing a Pink song me and my wife both looked at each other and said WTF, that is absolutely the worst artist for her to cover if she does the song straight up. We were right, that was awful. Pink is all attitude and emotion which Jess has none of, even the mic stand toss felt forced and out of place.
Jena - the Gaga song was ok, her voice seemed a little off like she couldn't catch her breath but overall it was more than good enough.
Alex - I'm Yours is his wheelhouse and everybody knew that. He should have knocked it out of the park but for some reason it fell flat for me. Still way better than Jess though.
Round 3
Caleb - Absolutely loved his version of Maybe I'm amazed. When it was over I was like he has this shite on lock, no way he gets out performed in this round..........
Jess - by far her best performance of the night. If only she would have chosen 2 other songs similar to this one where she can be a country rock crooner she could have given Alex a run for 3rd.
Jena - WOW..... I was worried at first when she said what she was singing, Elvis was my late father's favorite artist ever and I really wanted her to do it justice, she did more than that. I thought it was outstanding and it emotionally moved me. Best performance of the night and maybe the season.
Alex - Yellow by Coldplay was good but everything is starting to really really really sound the same. I agree with everybody that he really needs to show another side of him to stand out. Right now he is 3rd and in the giant shadows of Caleb and Jena.
It's going to be a Caleb and Jena final and I think it could be really entertaining and one of the more competitive finals this show has had recently.

Been a while since I posted here. Most of the time I don't get to watch the show until the following weekend from DVR. So who is going home tonight? Has to be Jess right?

agree totally.. and for once, i wouldn't really care who won.. i mean caleb is my favorite but, i wouldn't be mad if jena won

Yep Caleb is my favorite but I really like Jena also. She sold me with her versions of Radiohead and Elvis. I'm going to sound like a total metro fig for saying this but she should always wear her hair straight, when it's curly it makes her face look like a Christmas ham.

After Jena was saved, it became obvious that the final will be between Jena and Caleb. I'd be shocked by any other result. I don't know who will win. I've wondered which one of them has been on top of the voting all season.

a caleb/jena final would be pretty exciting. it's not often where the final 2 doesn't have a clear cut favorite.

She was saved at the very beginning when they picked the first 12. She was in the sing off. I am in agreement with most of the comments made by everyone. I thought Jess should have been booted last week and Sam should have made the final 4. Bama must have a lot of cell phones. Alex is a one trick pony but he is very original and has a great voice. Jena has a unique quality to her voice. Sometimes, it sounds like a blend of two or three voices. Caleb could be a star on Saturday Night Live. so much energy. Great personality. He is a rocker. But is the market still there for his singing?

You need to watch Jena's version of the Elvis song "Can't Help Falling In Love" right now. Hands down best performance of the season.

Claims to be a rocker of sorts. She's a statue, though, most of the time.
This season was much better than last season.

Her age is amazing. Remember at the beginning when Harry had a problem with the more mature songs she was singing? He had to give that up. She performs like a more mature person.

I know he's a longshot but I hope Alex wins he was one of my favs from the jump.
He's going to need a Kris Allen Heartless kind of performance. Kris Allen was in the same exact position the guy everyone expected to finish 3rd and then with that singular performance it vaulted him to win the whole thing. That is why to me it is the greatest performance in Idol history. In fact I hope Alex sings Heartless he can definitely pull it off, although that isn't going to be the song that will vault him.
