Yeah, I mean, he's pretty damn good at these songs, and I'll probably get killed for this, but he's just kind of becoming a one trick pony for me. He's going to kill an 80's rock song week in, week out. Alex and Jena are just more interesting to me, but I don't vote, so what the frick do I matter.

Can someone please explain to me how America picked the songs? Clearly I missed this explanation. Was there a list and people voted? Did they get to pick from 1,000 songs that people tweeted? How does this work?

Just watched Jena's second song. It was great. She's the whole package without a doubt. I still love my two odd boys best though.
My Little Sam was got and cold on the second song.
I'm officially grossed out by that pose Jess started with and the tat sticking out. Awkward and I appealing. Performance sucked for me. Strange. Low register wasn't good. I think her time has come. She goes tomorrow night in my opinion.

I totally missed that part. When I looked at the tv she was standing up at the mic stand. I need to see a pic of her leg tat.

She looked strange in the gown to begin with and her leg was sticking out at a very odd angle. There's probably a video out there by now.

Jess's performance went from weird/ awkward kinda way with that exposed tat but I was looking forward to where she would take it... Then she stood up and sang and the performance went blah like that red dress fitting.
I'll be shocked if anyone else but her goes home tonight. We'll see though.

The dress and the staging were bizarre and, I agree with you, the singing pretty much stuck with the set up. I heard them compliment her low range after I typed my opinion. They must have heard something different from me because there were parts where the low register wasn't good at all to my ears.
I still love Alex's Say Something. Perfect song for him in my opinion. Fit his genre and he did it so well.

ok, just found a video of her whole performance. That is a pretty awkward leg protrusion. The tat may be real but if she was doing the leg thing to be sexy, it did not come off that way. With that being said, I don't hate the dress on her. It was the stylists attempt to make her look less trashy but she nixed that pretty quick with her leg move.
