I know he's a longshot but I hope Alex wins he was one of my favs from the jump.
He's going to need a Kris Allen Heartless kind of performance. LINK Kris Allen was in the same exact position the guy everyone expected to finish 3rd and then with that singular performance it vaulted him to win the whole thing. That is why to me it is the greatest performance in Idol history. In fact I hope Alex sings Heartless he can definitely kill it, although that isn't going to be the song that will vault him.

as usual, i'm late to the party.
I have been pulling for jess ever since tha stage mom bitch blamed jess for her daughter going home during group week.
i wanted alex to go home because he's annoying but, it was probaly time for jess to go... hope this helps her career.
i still see a caleb/jena final. probably with jena winning.
But, if those 2 make it, i'll be happy no matter who wins.

It was unnecessary. Didn't add anything positive to the show and it wasn't advertised, so it's not like it garnered more viewers. I can't figure out what the thought process was behind that stunt.

Huge props to Caleb tonight for pushing through the show with the losing the voice problems. I've struggled with vocal issues myself and it is not fun

Just starting to watch. I take it the night was good, though I can't tell if anyone else did well other than Caleb. I saw Alex's first song and I really liked it. Caleb's first was okay. Jena was okay.
Round 1 to Alex.
I give Alex Round 2 also.
Caleb is doing fine job considering he's sick. Jena has a lot of talent and comfort on stage. I don't love her tone, though, mid range or low register. That's personal taste.
Round 3
I don't love the Zeppelin song, but Caleb did a good job. I didn't find it as inspiring as the judges did. Might be bc I don't love the song.
Again, I enjoyed Alex's performance. He got good song choices tonight. They all did.
Jena is very poised for a 17 year old. Very nice job.
Torn between Jena and Alex for this round. I give the night to Alex. I hate to see him leave, but I think he will bc he's so different. I wish they'd just have 3 for the finale. I'd like to see them all again.
I'm out of town tomorrow and I'm going to try not to read anything until I get home Friday if possible! I want to see the results show.

Caleb has his own band, just like Daughtry, ready to go already. All 3 did a great job in my opinion. If I had to rank them I'd go Caleb, Alex then Jena. Just based on last night.

well said... i totally agree..
i loved the zepplin tune.. the guy was singing with bruised vocal chords and still did a great job.
jena is REALLY good when she's playing the piano and singing.
i'm hoping he wins but i think it will be jena.. i'm ok with that but i want caleb to win.
alex's hair got higher as the season went on. the video of him auditioning his hair was flat...then on thursday he had james dean type hair.

Just watched the predicted outcome. Alex knew. Everyone knew. I like him. He's different and he did well. Kudos to him. I think he'll do well after AI.

At least this season, I won't be disappointed when the winner is named. Their isn't a Taylor Hicks in the final. I hated to see Alex go, He will do well after Idol. I think the other judges should follow Harry's lead and quit giving standing ovations and saying who the final 2 will be, five or six weeks before the season finale. So the music Alex plays isn't their cup of tea. I get it. But maybe, just maybe, the millions of people watching and voting can make up their minds without being lead.
