I don't know really when it happened but Trent I think has become one of my favorite Idols ever. That dude has an amazing voice and he kills every performance. He deserves to win this

Trent sort of snuck up in the ranks. He's so good, but LaPorsha will win.
Hated to see MacKenzie go, but it was inevitable. I'm glad he made it to the home visit.

I think Trent will beat LaPorsha. Think for whatever reason guys get more votes probably from the young female crowd

After seeing Mackenzie's visit home, I wanted him to be in the top 3 over Dalton. He really seems to be a sweet kid. He just doesn't have enough variety and range and is limited by the very style that he excels in.
Dalton seemed very upbeat last night, but he will be third place.
LaPorsha is talented and excellent, but I'm hoping Trent's forward momentum will push him through for the win. I wonder if Justin Timberlake gave permission for his song specifically for Trent.

Trent has really come on strong in the last couple of weeks. What is wild is he was the one with mono and I thought was going to just pass out during hollywood week. now he is in the top 3

I would have enjoyed hearing MacKenzie sing a little Fleetwood Mac. I'm surprised he lasted as long as his did with his limited genre, but on the other hand, I really liked listening to him. He's obviously a neat kid and I hope he does well in the future. He's someone who would be fun to know, personally.

On the home visit, it was mentioned that he didn't have them there because he's superstitious. Then, AI, of course, brings them to the live show as a surprise. Seemed a bit off for them to do that. I figured he'd have them there if he went to the finals.

I thought it weird that AI took all the drama out of the top three when they announced Dalton before La Porsche.
Everything with La Porsche seems forced by judges/ producers when it is unnecessary with the talent she has.

So did I. MacKenzie was quick to figure out he was leaving when it was between he and LaPorsha. Good sense of humor offering to announce the results.
But, really, I assumed the last two would be Dalton and MacK. And, yes, MacKenzie has a killer smile. Killer.

Yeah a lot of interesting production things for sure. Totally forgot Ellen was a judge and glad to see that it wasn't just the audience that hated the Mariah/Nikki Minaj season. It was brutal

I sort of wished they'd spent a little more time on that disaster. It made for an absolutely almost unbearable season because it was all about the judges. I think they knew there would be drama and thought it would be a good thing drawing in more viewers. I think it was way more drama than they bargained for and a disaster they prayed to get through.

I feel like Trent deserves to win but suspect LaPorsha gathered so much fan support a month ago that it will carry her through.

I don't think she was quite that direct, but her comments were some I thought should have been avoided. I think her point was that if they come together over her, she wished they'd come together over more important things.
I hate when they ask the judges in the middle of it who's ahead. Then, they don't do it again or not equally. I think Trent has been terrific. LaPorsha is good, but it's the same old stuff so far. Trent is more musically creative and talented for my taste. Much more interesting.
