They already had multiple saves this year...they blew them on the first night someone got voted off (The Diva chick...I forget her name) and overated Casey.
Lot people believe the show is rigged...I dont.

They chose NOT to save the Diva chick they only have 1 save this season.
I was ok with the save on Casey. The fact is that Pia should have never been on the bottom 3 much less booted. Not when there is some bad talent left in the group such as vanilla Stefano the chick now forcing her raspy voice and a the church singer.

They wont go 2 saves.
Problem is.....13 year old girls vote 100 times. Everyone else votes for their favorite once maybe twice......but they voting is dominated by the teen age girl.
Any wonder its all the nice safe young guys winning lately.

At the end of the day, Pia was a one-trick wonder. She is LESS talented than Celine and Mariah, and America does not want/need another one like her. She can sing ballads wonderfully, but that is it. Where do ballads get you on the radio these days? Scotty is also a one-trick wonder, but his trick is far more original

Haley and Lauren have original sounds. Pia is the karaoke version of Celine and Mariah Carey. The entire excuse of teenage girls ruining the show falls flat when you realize that Haley and Lauren were fine last night.

If you don't want 5 straight girls voted off, stop this absurd shite where you have a quota for boys/girls in the Top 12. Take the best 12, then you don't have to worry about American weeding out the girls early on in the show. Everyone knew the girls were much weaker than the guys.

Not that I necessarily agree with you, but every week she is there she disproves most of the theories about why Pia got kicked off. In fact, her presence in the Top 8 proves that in a show that is on TV, America wants the entire package (singing talent, personality, attractiveness), and Pia only had 2 of those 3.

i think that it does play into some of the voting, but its more about people thinking she's safe and not voting. see casey, he was voted off one week and then the next week ryan told him he wouldn't believe how many votes he got.

ashton, stefano and naima were the wildcard saves which made the top 13.
