Sometimes it is better to get voted off. Then you aren't under American Idol contract. It worked out better for Daughtry.

I thought Idol signed him. I thought they had the option to sign the top 5 or 6.

Nope...he has his own record deal away from Idol. I remember hearing about that.

Paul, Jacob, Scotty, and Stefano are still in it

Stefano will be gone next week. His vanilla personality will take care of that. Pia and Thea are gone for that same reason. This is why so many people from the South get the furthest in this competition, because we almost always have the best personalities out of everyone in the competition. It's about being a total package...voice and personality are the most important with looks being third.

Randy Jackson is going to follow this girl around with a contract all night long.

He should. That girl can sing. And yeah she's not a polished performer, but neither are the rest of em. You don't go from a nobody to a top performer in a few months.

IMO this is half the judges fault. While i think they have made the show better for personality reasons, they have been very kind on performances the past 4-5 weeks. They arent exposing some of these frauds like Paul and Stefano like they should be. Expect the gravy train to stop now that Pia has been voted off.

This combination of judges is terrible.

I was prepared for Stefano to go but I accept Pia leaving. She will do fine, every swinging dick producer in LA is gonna go after her and promise her all kinds of shite and she'll have missionary sex with them to get her record deal and that will be that!

The hate is strong in you.

My wife and I are done with AI forever after tonight. They fricked up letting people vote online. Too many loser kids voting a million times screwing up everything. I was just telling my wife yesterday a Casey, Pia, James final 3 would be awesome. Expect now none of those 3 to be in the running.

I'm done with Idol, no talents like Paul, Stefano, and James keep moving on and a voice like Pia is voted off. America fricked this up for sure. Let the judges have the say so, at least they really know the music business.

this is what happens when the judges used their save on casey, it was way too early to use it on casey, even though he didn't deserve to go. you could see that something like this was going to happen !

Wait a second now. James is pretty good. Stefano...yeah I agree. And Paul is good...but he would be better off on his own away from American Idol. He already has two albums released on iTunes. And those albums are pretty decent, because it is his own music.

Nailed it. I've been thinking this for weeks, but the judges are calling average performances amazing, and it is totally throwing off peoples' opinions and they have no clue who to vote for. I thought that last year Simon alone made Lee Dewyze look way better than all of the other contestants on the show, and he did his job because he recognized early that Lee would be the best for the American Idol label.

If I'm the producer of American Idol, I am extremely upset with the judges, but ultimately it is his fault also for approving online voting.

James is a less flamboyant version of Adam Lambert. He has talent.

Lambert does have more talent, but James is more likable and that will go a long way.
