or a $2.99 monthly charge to dodge them.
Ads in Prime Video content will start in the U.S., U.K., Germany, and Canada in early 2024, followed by France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, and Australia later in the year.

So unless you pay $2.99 there will be 600 ads on Prime Thursday Night Football and not the 400 shown last night?

Everything sucks more and more every day. People get nickel and dimed for everything.

They took away ad-free prime music? I have listened all day and haven't heard an ad

They will start charging for their unlimited picture storage next.

You can only listen to prime music on shuffle and with ads I think. Sucks arse compared to what it was.

I guess $140 isn't enough.

I don't hate ads if they're played all at once before a movie or TV show. I hate having a movie interrupted repeatedly at random moments. If it's a free service, there's not much to complain about but if you're paying for the privilege of constant interruptions, no thanks.

Exactly. Tubi interrupts the movie with ads but I don't pay for Tubi so I'm not mad

More and more I just want to own DVDs.

Try to play a playlist or go to the next song in an album...or, hell, play the song you select.

So, just a heads up to Amazon, "I didn't mind your trailers at the beginning of stuff, even for that awful faux Lord of the Rings - but I'm not watching your ads."
Thank you.
Thank you.

Friend,
Cord cutting is so 2010. The new thing is getting rid of streaming services and heading back to the theaters. Americans sit on their couches way too much and watch mindless television shows more and more. It is time to bring back the social aspect of our viewing. Time to return to our movie theaters where our attention is undivided and we share in the experience with others. These experiences allow us then to have thoughtful conversations about the films. See you at the cinema!
Yours,
TulaneLSU

I cancelled earlier this year. They keep raising the price and reducing what they provide.
