I mean, he has kids now and a global image to worry about. I’ll give him a pass.

I remember Rob saying he created “Fat Mac” because it was common for characters in a Tv show to become more attractive sometimes the longer a show goes on. So he did the opposite

Now he’s become the anti-fat Mac. It’s good he’s not fat anymore but yeah it’s a bit much

Charlie is the only one that’s aged normally. Besides Danny ofc but he’s old anyway

The only episode I've truly enjoyed was the ambulance/chef one, it was so crazy it just felt like a throwback. The rest I've either heavily disliked (Abbott crossover, dog track) or didn't care for (the rest). At this point, I just think they're a bit too Hollywood and at their ages it just doesn't really hit the same.

Don't think it's been mentioned here, but in Overage Drinking: A National Concern (S17E6), during the cold open, the kids in the bar were Rob's and Glenn’s sons.

Last night's episode was damn funny. Dennis taping his face and makeup had me rolling.

That was a great episode - Frank was, well, Frank.

A sweet tribute to Charlie’s mom at the end.

After emotional pause..”Bonnie, you’re a dirty, dirrrty slut.”

ETA: Damn, RIP to the actress (Lynn Stewart). Nice that she had a great scene in her last episode.

Damn. That last episode was easily one of the best in the past decade. Holy shite. Instant classic. Devito is just perfect on this show. It’s so cool to see him really shine this much so late in his career. I mean, what other comedic actor in their 80s is as good as he’s been? It’s a blessing that we are getting to see this.

The guy was getting the biggest laughs on tv almost 50 years ago and he’s still doing it. And that’s really only been a portion of his career along with his producing/directing. It’s cliche but they truly don’t make them like that anymore.

Also, I’m really glad we got a Frank-centric episode after he wasn’t quite as prominent in some other episodes this season. I might be in the minority but I have traditionally liked the episodes that were almost entirely focused on a single character. Being Frank, Charlie Work, Dennis takes a Mental Health Day and now The Golden Bachelor. All classics.

This season was so good. Next one could be the last as they were extended through season 18

Season 3-7 were all timers though, some good episodes mixed in from there, but very little to remember from about when Dennis was absent for a season till now.

Not sure why all the downvotes, for me 2-5 were amazing humor and it seriously tapered off from there. Had no idea this was still going. I still walk around making Texas Oil Man quotes "WILDCARD BITCHES!!".
