She’s also the same idiot who set up her camp in dry river bed and when it rained the dried bed turned to a wet bed really quick.
This is the worse season with all of the story telling.
They literally just showed Nathan sitting in his cabin and the elapsed time was over 3 hours. That’s the last thing I want to see. But at least it wasn’t Kelsey doing more dumb shite.

This season is like watching NASCAR at Dover. If I had to bet, Kelsey is going to get medically evacuated, other chick will tap and the guy will win.

Same. History app. If you watch on a desk top the ads are only 30 seconds. I watch a work sometimes. But the app on tv is the worst.

There seems to be absolutely nothing to eat other than plants in this environment. Fishing hasn’t been a reliable option like other seasons, and there’s a lack of small game that would normally sustain contestants. I’m talking about game on par with grouse, mice, etc. The topography plays out where you’re in the bottom of a bowl so the game you could kill can see you easily from the surrounding ridges.
As stated above, these contestants are not on the same caliber as the usual participants. Some of them are borderline stupid.
There’s not the heavy emphasis on building a shelter because there’s no nighttime wintry weather that they have to prepare for so that’s a big draw for me.
Theres multiple reasons why this season sucks so bad.

Glad to see Nathan win.
He was about the only person on this show that seemed worthy of being on the show. That was a massive catfish he caught right before the end.
I like seeing a change from canadian arctic, but i didn't really care for this location. I guess if we had better contestants i could have enjoyed it better.
I've got a long trip planned in 2 weeks so i'll probably download the podcasts of some of the contestants to see how bad the editing was, and see if i can find anything redeemable about this season.
The contestants were easily the weakest, and worst, of all the previous seasons, but I think the editing was even worse for this season.
Hopefully they get enough negative feedback to not do crap like this anymore and get back to what makes this show great, the survival elements, not sob stories.

I download it and put it on plex.
I can skip the first 3 minutes of worthless recap and intro, and then i can skip anytime someone starts talking about crap i don't give a shite about. No commercials, so i watch an episode in about 20-25 minutes (this season), where as previous seasons there was minimal to no fast forwarding (except the intro).

Also, i dont' know if it was the same for everyone else, but the loud arse constant rumbling noise they would do from time to time was irritating as shite. It would last a good 30 seconds and my entire house would be rumbling from my subwoofer. I had to mute it just to watch. It's as if it was meant to intentionally piss anyone off that has a subwoofer. Even if i lowered the volume it was still a loud rumble.

Nathan was the only one who I cared about so I’m glad he won and not Kelsey. Gosh, she got irritating with her feminist attitude of “I’m going to show the world that women can’t be underestimated, and we’re a force to be reckoned with.”

So glad he won. Kelsey was miserable to watch. My least favorite season by far.

He truly was the only one who deserved to win. I didn't hate Kelsey like y'all did. I think her bitchin' was her way of talking herself into not missing home, wanting to tap. You have to give it to her that she stayed longer than a bunch of dumb guys, some of which I wanted to like, but could barely even get enough water. She seemed to have gotten the water thing down early on. I also liked her showing us all the cool wild animals that they weren't allowed to hunt.
The other woman drove me nuts with her "journey."

I wonder how much of the feminist stuff was suggested by producers. I also think the show runners are choosing people they know won't stay a long time. It doesn't seem to me like they want people staying 3+ months anymore. I'm sure it's about money...it always is. If you can have a winner in 3 weeks, it costs a whole lot less than over 3 months...who cares if they show isn't good anymore. This season was awful!

I would have liked to have seen him with better competitors. He could have gone a long time I think.
I'm with you, Kelsey didn't bother me that much. They just had to show her so much because everyone else they picked were such crappy competitors they only had three people to show for the last three episodes. So you got more of her than you typically would by that point in the show.
I still like the location but just wish they would have done a better job with the picks. They get thousands and thousands of applications, complete BS that they allowed some of those people to go on the show. I knew it was the worst season when I had no desire to even bump the thread and post about the final.
