Weird how some services will automatically green light 2 seasons of complete trash (Velma) but something clearly so top tier (at least price tag wise) like A.Earth has to wait a spell before it gets announced. I just don't get it.

Why is lady scientist even in charge of these kids? She has neither the psychological or scientific understanding to help navigate them through this inaugural voyage of human minds in artificial bodies. And a reminder , we’re talking pre-adolescent kids. Though they don’t have any hormones screwing up their brains, that is what their upload status was. So does it always stay like that? As their default status? Or should they be more robotic now that they don’t have actual bio - chemical stimulants messing with their heads? The show just answers this question with “why not both?”

They don't get into anything, which is the problem.
Why is Wendy, the original floor model, the key to everything? No one knows how she can mess with video, electricity, or communicate with (JUST?) Xenomorphs. Why can't the other kids do the same? Or other fantastic, off brand skills that should be fully understood by those at Prodigy who made them in the 1st place?
Don't know. Because the show needs it to be like that, I guess.

Finished the season today.
I didn't predict Wendy becoming Neo by the end of it.
The Eye didn't speak when it was in the mechanic's body on the ship. Why would it speak inside of Joe?

Like Wendy had to learn Xeno-speak, maybe the Oculus critter needs to learn before it can converse in human.

I too was upset we didn't see the eye speak. They had some neat aliens and should have explored them more. Also I'm done with maybe a couple of people dying. But one alien shouldn't have that high a body count against soldiers. They aren't bulletproof.

Wait, are you serious? That isn’t how elevators work. They also don’t have self-destruct mechanisms but what the hell…
They explicitly said that they are going to the armory, to secure it, and then in the next scene when they show up in the lab, they’re saying how they’re going to look for people to help.
Nobody stayed back to keep the armory on lockdown, they didn’t say what they had done, so if anyone wants to claim that that’s where they got their guns… They only got enough for themselves?

You’re not accounting for the in universe logic which is literally stated that “magic” controls all the tech and biology. Nothing needs to make sense, it’s magic so consume SPAM and like it.

Whoever said episode 8 would have been a really good penultimate episode but not a season finale was spot on. Just left so much stuff dangling. I understand you want some sort of cliffhanger but not every storyline left hanging.

Just started this and am halfway through EP 1, I am enjoying it so far and didn't read the rest of the thread and wont read anymore until after Oct 10.
