That's his go to insult. He said "I never reply to you" yet he has directly called me a liar at least seven times. Anytime i point out that likely he and SEK are the same person or in the same room. Also i always get two downvotes in every thread they are in. But i never mind votes they are meaningless. Funny to find it bothers MK.
Look i can be called a shill. Yet i HATED the star wars sequels. Agree about Rings of Power. Though what bothers me is these two are often in threads discussing shows they don't actually watch. Based off of Youtube comments. The cliff notes content.
I see now they watch this show.
But mostly shite on everything.
I rarely see either talk good about anything besides Kpop demon hunters.

I've brought up imperfections for every episode I've posted after. As have many of the people posting more regularly.

We're told "you didn't even watch it, you're just getting your opinions from youtubers, you can't post here." (

I've told MK a specific criticism has made it seem like he didn't watch the show because his criticism was insanely nitpicky in a way that didn't seem to take into account what was happening in the show. And SEK has been doing the same thing every episode. All of his complaints boil down to "why didn't the writers give me every piece of information right this minute?" That’s not how tv writing works, but then you remember this only the 5th or 6th tv show he's ever watched.

It's not okay to acknowledge someone's criticisms are missing very obvious thematic points of the show, or that they get basic info from the show incorrect, or that they ignore the need to pace things out?

Disagreement is not a call for silence. The K brothers are not victims in this thread.

The show is still watchable for me and I’m hoping for a good payoff with the eye alien but the fact there is no alarm or function trigger for each synth is out of this world bad. Even if he is a kid, he was told to follow procedure and still didn’t follow procedure as a highly intelligent synth.

Boy cavaliers antics are too damn annoying but he did play that bitch lol

I was really really hoping Kirsch was watching Indian boy and ordered the guard in to mess his plans up and see how he would play it out but now I see that would’ve been too good.

Only thing I can see is if Kirsch is a Weyland plant.

You must be an alter because Napoleon doesn’t like you and he’s too stupid to form an actual argument.

Lotta folks are noticing the stupid, and here's stuff I didn't even think of!

*Note - I don't agree with the blue mist on the egg thing. I always assumed that was a by product of the eggs, or whatever laid them. to 'alert' the eggs something's nearby.

I can only speak for myself as for what I like and what I've seen, but you have to ask yourself, could it be that there's just a shite ton of bad stuff out there? And that's why there's so rarely anything good to say?

I'd rattle off some shows or movies I did like, but I'm betting you don't care either way.

Bingo. I'd suggest there's probably a R/ shipping Wendy & Xeno as most of the reddit folk LOVE to do stuff like that, but then the show has basically already started down that road. No need for such fetish fanfic with this show.

He's technically not a synth but a hybrid. Which as we can see, some of the kids are more intelligent than others. One of them thought they were pregnant.

Is it possible Kirsch is letting all of this play out as an experiment? The last episode hammered that home when Wendy mentioned that she and the hybrids are like the aliens...specimens to be studied. Nothing more...nothing less.

Kirsh is Likely working for someone. Maybe not Weyland but one of the other five. That or he just wants to see Prodigy fail.

I get that about being a hybrid but these “kids” would grow up fast just by the knowledge they can obtain. Sure, some minds might not be compatible and forever stay in their “child-like” state or malfunction but I’d imagine there would be some understanding that breaking a seal to give food is a no no

If I'm not mistaken, kid and teen brains absorb knowledge at a high rate but their decision making skills are around the last parts to mature.

I have a bigger problem with the adult kids acting more childlike as "adults" than they did as children. But that's a Hollywood trope. You look at Tom Hanks in big, Zachary Levi in Shazam... the character becomes an adult with a kid mind, but the child in the grown up body acts way more childlike than the character did when portrayed by a child actor.

What’s sad is there is a connection to be made in universe between the xenos and humans because part of their DNA was used to create humans according to Prometheus but it isn’t by being best buds or Wendy having one as a pet dog.

I don't consider Prometheus to be canon, so frick all that. And Wendy has no DNA herself, so baby Xeno is basically clittering to a toaster.

I hear you I’m just saying even with all the canonical movie frickups there are interesting routes to take that can salvage the franchise. Go to the questions left by the first movie and build from there.

This show isn't canon either. I'm sure it's been said in this thread:

"Creator Noah Hawley stated that the show is "its own thing," existing in parallel to the existing films rather than being a direct prequel or sequel. While it will use the franchise's lore and iconography, it is not constrained by the established timeline and aims to tell a unique story within the Alien universe."

And that's the problem. Studios that control IPs just want to make money off of them, and directors want to do their OWN vision of an existing thing, using all the member berries but none of the heart or substance of the source material.

The movie is called 'ALIEN'. For all that word implies. Then to keep the gravy train going, and make more franchise content, they retconned it and then split the timeline, making everything that follows it's own g-damn overpriced fanfic version.

Just like Rings of Power, Wticher, Terminator, Star Trek, Doctor Who, etc... No need to revisit all that again. Damn Multi verses and different 'timelines' is the laziest, weakest and least satisfying ways to milk a story. But here we are.

I like this show from a pure entertainment value and without nitpicking every little thing. Am I allowed to say that here? Or is this the thread only for hating on the show?
