Well my immediate first impression is that he’s dressed like a WW2 German Field Marshall.

Were you this uspet when Luke survived after he was clawed across the face and chest by a Wampa's razor sharp claws half a second after it snapped his Tauntaun's neck?

How about when R2D2 took a direct shot to the dome and was fine in the next scene?

Or what about when Leia gets shot and its no big deal the rest of the movie?

Something tells me the answer is no.
you think all of these are the same as getting a light saber through he chest?

I mean, people have an issue with Sabine surviving a lightsaber gut shot but Maul surviving being CUT IN HALF in cool

It is what it is
the ONLY reason Maul survived because they knew they made a mistake killing his awesome character. I think everyone realizes that and gives it a pass.

Considering it went into the her side away from her heart, a light saber cauterizes wounds, and she was immediately taken for medical attention where she would have been put in a bacta tank? Yeah. Not all that different. Worst case she lost some of a rib and suffered a collapsed lung.

im only on episode 4, but i have a question for you nerds.

since is seems Ahsoka went to some force middle place or something and returned. could Ben Solo do the same?
because only he can save the movie series.

I mean yeah in A New Hope they don't but everywhere else they do.

As for Qui Gon, he got stabbed in the middle of an all out battle and there was apparently no time to take him anywhere to heal him.

Also, lettuce bee cereal, for how awesome most OW/QG v Maul duel was the end to the fight kinda sorta sucked.

except it doesn't.

I think most people have said it was stupid to have her get stabbed by the lightsaber.

Does it now? I’m just thinking anything that has enough power to cut through a steel blast door is probably gonna cook the internal organs of whatever it passes through. It’s not some thin, narrowly focused point of energy. It’s an incredibly high powered weapon.

i know but dont argue how it was "realistic" for her to survive.

Uh, yeah it is?

Otherwise it would burn the hands of whoever was holding one from the heat transfer to metal hilts.

This is a pretty stupid detail to get hung up on considering we don't know a ton about their medicine other than it's way more advanced than ours. They have droid doctors and robot replacement parts for humans. They also have full on cloning so I would imagine on demand replacement organs are a thing.

As long as she didn't get stabbed in the heart or some other critical hit, with immediate medical attention they should have time to replace the Liver/Kidneys or whatever else was stabbed.

Umm no it’s not. A laser would be narrowly focused. A sword of its magnitude with what appears a blade 2 inches in diameter is not narrow. If it’s capable of melting steel, it’s absolutely going to cook flesh and bone.

the irony..... I do find this fun...

I mean who cares if it hits her heart... they can just clone her.

I don’t really give a shite about this argument BUT I will say Qui Gon got stabbed and then hung around for a bit. He still was alive a good 15 minutes after he was stabbed because Obi still had to wait 2-3 minutes for the energy gate to open and then Maul fought for a bit, then Maul taunted him for a little bit while Obi was hanging in the pit. Then Obi pulled himself out and cut down Maul. That was at least 10-15 minutes and Qui Gon still held on to give some instruction to Obi Wan

Sabine got medical attention almost immediately after being stabbed, probably saving her life. It’s way more plausible than stupid arse Reva surviving a stab wound from Vader with ZERO medical attention

I did not say I was above it, I just said it was stupid

It is nice to have a Star Wars argument over nerdy details instead of politics. That's how it's supposed to be.

I need to add to my dumbassness . Did everyone know that Claudia black was the lead nightsister? Mind blown. He was so fine in Stargate and farscape.

Anyone trying to figure out and find continuity in lightsaber damage has been having a hard time since 1980.
