What's the other trilogy?

Thrawn Ascendacy

Book 1: Chaos Rising
Book 2: Greater Good
Book 3: Lesser Evil.

It’s set before the other trilogy and shows Thrawn’s rise in the Chiss Ascendancy.

True, but seriously, what was the point of that action scene other than a girl boss moment?

I already answered that for you.

Only Canon because Disney decided they were canon, but a very good decision unless they butcher everything written about Thrawn.

The novels they are talking about were written 100% under Disney ownership. They are about canon Thrawn.

My understanding is there is Thrawn's younger life written by Timmothy Zahn for Disney.

Thrown comes from the Thrawn Trilogy where book 1 is Heir to the Empire (Legends) novels by Timothy Zhan

Is that correct?

How did I not know about those. I've got work to do.

Basically she could wear a paper towel and because the plot needs her not to die, she will not die.

So like every other protagonist ever?

Or would you rather she be coated in shrugoffium? You know, where fatal wounds are just minor inconveniences?

Some of y’all think Shin is gonna double cross Baylan, and that may happen. It just seems like they’ve been setting up a fight with Sabine. They had the previous fight and got her arse kicked. They keep eye-balling each other, plus it would allow Sabine to show off her Jedi abilities

Yes Thrawn originates from Heir to the Empire, and those 3 books are “Legends.”

But he has multiple new canon books written by Zahn.

Another possibility is that Shin joins Sabine and the crew. She seems to question Baylan often and have doubts. Although I’m sure Baylan would sense that.

This series is quickly becoming the best of the bunch. If you want to rank Mando S1-2 higher, fine. But it is among the best that has been done so far. * Andor is also great but episodes 1 and 2 are unwatchable.
bullshite... none of the others compare to Andor. Season 1-2 or Mando are good... but past that everything has been a disappointment.

All of these characters were developed over multiple seasons of tv. None of them are mary sue’s, they’re all flawed in different ways. Each have complex motivations and depth. Complaining about the lack of that in this series is like watching Avengers: Endgame and complaining because no one explained any of the characters to you. Sorry you chose not to watch a sequel without watching the media that it’s building from. That’s on you.
you know whats not on me..... The piss poor execution of the actors. Hera and Sabine are approaching Reva's level of acting.

Thats the biggest thing for me with this show. The acting is terrible. Baylon is the bright light in a sea of nothing. Even Dawson seems to be mailing it in on this. I think this story is decent.. nothing to really bitch at. but it is slow. and thats ok Andor was slow. it was fantastic. this is just ok.

I'm really, really enjoying this show, every episode. That being said you are correct in that the best part of it is literally dead and can't carry a storyline into S2.

Let me add my worthless opinion on that. I don’t like Dawson’s acting either. I don’t think she’s mailing it in, it just doesn’t look fluid in some spots. She looks ridiculous when she tries to be serious or in deep thought. And when she folds her arms/has them behind her back walking around like General Patton? It seems stiff to me. But, she has looked good in other spots so I won’t complain. It’s just an observation. Like Andor, the first two episodes are meh, but oh boy is it picking up steam!
