Yes, she hot is “I Love L.A.” What is interesting is that she is the daughter of actress Pamela Adlon from Californication & tons of other shows.

Im actually in favor of honoring source material. Im even fine with an actor taking a role, seeing later that taking the role will be divisive due to a strong fanbase, and withdrawing.

What I think is BS is that the same people who are upset that this casting was a white girl, cheer on when white source material characters are replaced with brown actors.

Letting Instagram dictate your career decisions seems like a bad move but I'm clearly not an actor so who knows.

It isn't IG dictating. Listen to an interview of Billy Corgan and he will tell you the pressure muscians and movie stars are under to get in line.

It is literally her job to act like someone she isn't

I don't see a problem with her taking the role

I dont see any issue with her taking the role, but if she doesnt want it why should I care what her reasons are? She is a grown person and can make her own decisions.

Aside from that idiotic septum piercing, Odessa is pretty hot in "I Love LA" with Rachel Sennott.

She's hotter when she's not trying to look ambiguously ethnic.

It is SO important for me to let you in on how it all went down: I went in for Percy, but was offered Zoe instead and instantly said yes! I’m so pissed y’all, I hadn’t read the book and should have paid more attention to all aspects of Zoe before accepting"

Society is so fricked. People are so soft and fricking stupid. There really is no coming back from this stupid bullshite

What's more ridiculous is late 20s/early 30s people being cast as high school students

I wonder how many of her instagram critics absolutely loved Hamilton?

Based on what? Mexico has had a film industry since the early 1900s.

I had no idea who she is. But she;s not having a great couple of months. In December she has also had to apologize for being Jewish.

They aren't going to applaud her for turning it down.

I will laugh if the next actress isn't "right" either, but keeps the role anyway.

They should cast some hot blonde haired blue eyed model from upper crust Mexico City to be authentically Mexican and let the Leftist internet trolls stew.

Being everyone's favorite part of a popular HBO show AND earning an Oscar nomination must have been just brutal for her.

ETA: jk. thought she got the marty supreme supporting nod. She did not.

Seems odd that she would accept a role without knowing anything about the character.
