Sam Worthington. Dude went from zero to 60 in an instant back in 2009.
Yeah, this is the clear king. Went from nothing but box office bombs in Australia to being listed as equal billing as Christian Bale right after The Dark Knight, and then was the star of the biggest blockbuster of all time. I have nothing against Sam as a person, but only cosmic or supernatural forces can explain his rise and fall.

Samuel L. Jackson has been forced for 40+ years. He still sucks. He has one character, one facial expression, and one range.

I was thinking James Franco. He’s got decent comedic timing, but his acting is super cringe.
Apatow found him young and helped him in his career. I can make sense of that one.

But he’s excellent in that range. Yeah, he sucked as Mace Windu, but if you channel Jackson’s energy properly, he’s awesome.

Yeah, and he’s a good comedic actor and it was a good part in the show. What the hell, OP?
& he was menacingly excellent in Mr. Robot.

Nicolas Cage
Nah, in the right role he's gold. The problem is he insists on playing every role but the everyman role which is the one that is in his wheelhouse.

Darrell was a solid character who represented realism
Then he went upstairs and became a joke
Figured that was an intentional part of his development. When he was in shipping it was always the sales guys v the blue collar guys. Then when went upstairs, he eventually became “one of them”

No. There wasn’t one The Office character who got better over time. The writers ruined them all. Him getting bad wasn’t intentional. It was because they sucked as writers later on.

That's two of the three movies he was in.
And the last one was in 2013

Who's forcing you to watch direct to streaming, no-budget nonsense?
Cage is brilliant in many good movies, and no one is watching his bad movies.

How are his obscure, limited release movies "being shoved down our throat"? Also, his early filmography is excellent.

Every movie Nic Cage is in, he makes it better. Nicolas Cage is awesome.

I thought I was the only one but I never liked Darryl from The Office or Craig Robinson in general, He seems like a cool guy but I've never laughed at anything he's said and he always just seems like an unnecessary extra guy in everything.
Not a popular take but I also agree with Brad Pitt and Tom Hardy. I think Brad Pitt is a high school level actor and nobody can convince me otherwise, and despite his looks he's wooden and boring as shite. Tom Hardy was everybody's man crush for a while but it seems like all he ever does is stare menacingly while mumbling something in some random voice

From looking at his IMDb, it might feel like Gerard Butler is being forced down our throats in the next couple of years, but he isn't the worst actor.
