I've come to the general conclusion that the majority of top-tier actors are stuck on themselves or outright A-holes. There seems to be plenty of evidence supporting that. That said, name an actor who you believe is genuinely a nice person.

Mark Wahlberg. Met him in Covington when he was filming a movie here, just an unassuming guy going to get something to eat....no entourage just him and another guy and didn't mind talking to people and taking a few pics

Brad Pitt is really cool.
Billy Zane and Cuba Gooding Jr were nice enough when I met them but apparently my experiences aren't universal.
Walton Goggins is awesome too.

I've always heard that Tom hanks and Tom Cruise are all around genuinely nice guys, same with George Clooney.

meeting an actor out and about at a restaurant is generally not a great indication. They are either annoyed and come across wrong or are playing nice for optics.

Genuinely pleasant people I worked closely with or around:
Elizabeth Banks, M. Mccarthy, Tom Hardy, Octavia Spencer, Ed Helms, Zach G, Chris Hemsworth, Lake Bell, Abigail Spencer, Cuba, Ryan Phillipe, Zac Efron, Alan Arkin, Sam Jackson

haven't worked with any aholes, but some that are reserved and focused:
Jon Hamm, Costner, Owen Wilson, Deniro, Lenny Kravitz

don't know firsthand, but plenty of contacts have indicated are aholes:
Ben Stiller (the worst), Vince Vaughn, Rosanna Arquette (crazy), Bruce Willis

Crossed paths once with Ryan Reynolds and he seemed like a really nice guy. (better be with his millions and banging Blake Lively)

In addition he also does a lot of charity work with kids.

Was an extra in a movie with Jon Voight. Sat at the same table with him on set. We were warned to not even make eye contact with the stars. On my way to the men's room, I had to pass right in front of him sitting in his canvasback high boy chair. He called me by name and asked me to come over and sit down (in a chair reserved for Josh Lucas). Talked for about 10 minutes. Was the thrill of a lifetime. A gentleman's gentleman.

It would legit crush me if Tom Hanks was a douchebag. I know it's almost solely based on his movie characters and his public persona, of which I have literally zero personal experience with...but my day would be ruined if I found out he wasn't a genuinely nice person.

My b-i-l works on the USS Kidd and Hanks is filming a movie there currently, and I think he said he's been pretty nice to work with. So I guess I do have somewhat of a "personal" experience.

Chris Pratt

I volunteer at the children's hospital at OLOL in BR, and Chris Pratt came up there to visit the kids one day while he was in town filming a movie. I wasn't there but everybody there said he was the nicest guy.

I also feel like Bill Murray would be pretty nice and cool to hang out with.

Hugh Jackman is universally regarded by the press as th enicest human being in the entertainment business.

Even when he was harassed by paps at his peak, even when he was skating around LA with his kids, he would always smile and ask them how they were doing and how everything was going and answered every question with joy.

It's probably no coincidence he's rarely, if ever, has a negative word written about him personally. I would assume he's probably even nicer in person.
