re: Actors that look very similar

Renee Zellweger, Joey Lauren Adams, and Jewel.

We used to refer to Gary Busey as a poor man’s Nick Nolte back in the late 90’s.

Tbh, as a kid I thought they were the same person. It was a total mind blown moment for me

For a while I thought Oscar Isaac and Jake Johnson were the same person.

I see many here who bear some basic resemblance, and could act as interchangeable parts as characters, but I'm not seeing many dead ringers.

And isn't that partly why actors do what they do? They can LOOK like what ever the character needs to them to look like, and then transform to a different persona for a different role.

I thought Danielle Panabaker ( Flash ) and
Elizabeth Henstridge ( Agents of Shield ) were eerily similar. Basically the same height, body frame and both born in the same month ( September ) of the same year ( 1987 ).

Was watching Turn with JJ field and was convinced it was Tom Hiddleston. I’m still not convinced that its not.
