Was Vin Diesel ever on?

If so, then him.

Tom Cruise wasn't doing well, but his role in Tropic Thunder earns him points in my book.

And some of the films Snipes was in were not big hits but they were big gigs to get. U.S. Marshals, Murder at 1600 and Rising Sun.

and after that lil run (and passenger 57...always bet on black bitch) of failure, he wasn't really on the radar that much

then came blade, and then blade got over-saturated with 2 sequels

Hell, De Niro hasn't made a decent film in a long time either.

and I wouldn't have expected him to take the role of a gay minor side character in Stardust either.

And how am I the first person to mention Nic Cage?

Do you think that it's a coincidence that I started this thread after noticing one about Nic Cage?

Maybe I am missing the point of the thread, but how can you say Nic Cage has "fallen off"? Maybe ya'll are sticking more to the "critically acclaimed" aspect, but Nic Cage has never been thought of as a really "great actor" but he still is very relevant, and has made some pretty big movies. Take the last 5-ish years alone: blockbusters and other pretty decent movies (National Treasure franchise, Ghost Rider, Knowing, G-Force, World Trade Center, Lord of War).

Meg Ryan

After "Sleepless in Seattle" and "You've Got Mail" I think several thought she would be one of Hollywood's leading ladies for years to come, but not so much once we got into the 2000's

I think some poor plastic surgery really did her in...

Whatever happened to Bill Pullman?

Also, Orlando Jones seems to have disappeared, even from shitty movies.

Some older ones.

Burt Reynolds. He fell off, got back up and fell off again.

Jan-Michael Vincent

Whoever said Ben Kingsley, I'll say F. Murray Abraham.

Kevin Costner.

Dropoffs don't get much steeper than from "Field of Dreams" & "Dances W/ Wolves" to "Rumor Has It" and "3000 Miles to Graceland".

Got her nose fixed. Nobody recognizes her now.

BTW, I loved her nose just the way it was.

dolph lundgren

I heard he was attached to a movie that was in pre production. I think he'll feature as a scientist that can smell crime. Also a lot of full penetration. M. Night Shyamalan to direct.

Which just makes him even more awesome. If anything, Shatner has gone the opposite way.

I agree that poor Meg Ryan killed her career with horrible plastic surgery. A few wrinkles look far better than turning yourself into stung by a bee lip and alien face.

Woody is not even close to the people on this list. He has been in a ton of good movies in the last 5 years. No Country For Old Men and A Scanner Darkly just to name two good ones.

What? That movie was awesome. I'd say anything after Open Range.
