One role that I was completely misled by had to be Bryan Cranston in Godzilla. I thought for sure he was going to be in the entire movie given how they marketed it. He dies super early

Matt Damon as Dr. Mann in Interstellar. May not be exactly the shortest, but the impact is tremendous enough to consider.
