it’s pretty clear Disney’s problem is budgeting every movie like it’s going to make 850m to a billion dollars.

You need pretty much everyone in the boat conceptually for that kind of movie.

you can’t have 15-20% of people turned off before the trailer drops.

The Snow White Movie you had: Hispanic Snow White, The 7 regular sized people before they changed it, your lead shitting on the original, and you’re two leads vocally supporting opposites sides on the Israel -Palestinian conflict.

That movie isn’t making a billion dollars.

Disney lost sight of what these movies are, shameless cash grabs based on nostalgia. People want shot for shot remakes with live actors because that’s kinda cool.

Snow White and the Huntsman is an imaginative retelling of Snow White. it made less than 400m worldwide. you can’t give a movie like that a huge budget.

That’s true of most kid movies though, that they are terrible, but kids like them. It doesn’t have to be that way.

I actually liked the Spongebob movies. I wasn't invited to the Minecraft one (she went with friends). But she was a lot more critical than I remember her ever being. That is borderline likely the last true kid's film she sees as she has discovered pre-teen/teen shows just recently. But some of those kids flicks weren't to shabby.
