By no means do I think Will Smith is a saint nor do I feel sorry for him, but Jada treats him like shite.

Which forced me to do some digging. There's apparently a british psychotherapist named "Esther Perel" (who pronounces her first name as 'Astaire') who was a guest on Jada's Facebook relationship talk show, "Red Table Talk" with co-hosts Jada's mom & Jada's daughter, Willow.
Ester Perel is a highly successful relationship therapist who recognizes a plurality of relationship types beyond traditional monogamy. So Jada would naturally love her, because she would help her to justify her cucking ways.

She would have been so buried by the Me Too movement if she were a man sleeping with her son's friend and gaslighting her husband on social media.
Will was wrong for slapping Rock but I think Chris has his shite together while Smith is unstable and has no idea how to cope. I'd rather be CR than WS all things considered

Fair question since the term is overused. But if you define it as:
quote:
Gaslighting is a colloquialism, loosely defined as making someone question their own reality
Then her saying she loves him while betraying him in publicly humiliating fashion has the effect whether or not it is consciously intended. Part of the problem is probably external to her as well since I doubt he has close friends who have his best interests at heart and would tell him things that he needs to hear

She really posted that video to her social media? What in the world is wrong with that woman. It also confirms that I made the right decision in breaking up with a girl a couple years ago that loved those Red Table talks and thought Jada was a great voice for empowering women
. I didn't break up because of that but I thought it was a red flag even then.

Will probably doesn't want to lose all his money in a divorce. That has to be the only reason he is still with her.
Either that, or there's som real Stockholm Syndrome shite going on.

It’s going to take her leaving him. She’s got her claws in him. And Will is too prideful to admit he’s failed in his relationship.

He’s been in too long and he doesn’t understand what’s reality anymore. The way they see the world is very twisted.

The more you examine their marriage, the more you get the feeling that Will Smith is going to end up committing suicide.
Jada has broken this man. She's a near perfect example of a textbook Borderline Personality Disorder.
He's been gaslit for decades, too far gone to ever be convinced that he has to get as far away from Jada as humanly possible.

I feel like a lot of us know what we’re seeing because we’ve been there before.

I promise this is not the reason. She's got her hooks in him and he can't even imagine leaving her.

I would say that this video combined with the other video about him making a big deal for her 40th all about him when it’s been pretty obvious that he’s worshipped the ground she walks on kinda hints toward the gaslighting.
He’s obviously a narcissist, but I just attribute that to Hollywood.
The making him feel bad about the party, posting him on social media when he really doesn’t want to be, and mocking him for it along with the red table interview itself lend itself to her making him feel like he’s the bad guy in most of their situations. That he got up and slapped a comedian for a hair joke in a public setting and thought it was the right thing to do shows some detachment from reality and that’s obviously rooted in his perception of his wife.
I have 0 idea what happens behind closed doors. They could both be raging abusive assholes. My outside uneducated opinion based on the 4 events is that she publicly makes him feel like shite for loving her.

And she doesn’t even love him. To her, he’s just the guy she married because Tupac died. She lets him know it too I guarantee you.

Indubitably. Fortunately I was able to escape my marriage to a BPD without children, public humiliation, or alimony obligations. Somehow I also was spared the pain of her committing adultery, there's no doubt it would have eventually happened had the relationship lasted longer. I was lucky to escape with just some emotional scarring.
But she had to be the one who ended it,I couldn't even dream of leaving. Even though I was miserable living with her mentally abusive bullshite, I had convinced myself that she go back to being the woman I fell in love with, one day.
But, that woman I fell in love with was an illusion...and the same is true for Will and Jada.
The Jada he fell for never actually existed, the abusive, manipulive, evil Jada that mentally breaks him every day is who she truly is, and was, all along.

It took me almost three years after my divorce to finally see reality. And I still struggle with it sometimes. And I’m remarried.
. She absolutely has him hooked
