Directing mostly, I believe. He did play the scientist in the OG Iron Man that Zebediah Stane berated for not being able to build a reactor that Tony Stark built in a cave.

yeah looks like it won't bring much new to the table, just references to the famous lines/gags from the original.

Have you ever read any of Jean Shepards books?

I'm in. It likely won't live up to the original, but I think it will be worth watching with the kids.

The fact that all of the main kid characters are back has me in for sure.

So since the first one was based in the 40’s, given the look of it I’m assuming this one is based in the 70’s?

They brought him back for Spider-Man: Far From Home as part of the crew of ex Stark employees working for Mysterio. He's the one who leaks Parker's identity to Jonah Jameson.

Also, I can't believe nobody mentioned The Dirt Bike Kid or The Hoboken Chicken Emergency.

The director's commentary on Made (Billingsly produced it with Favreau) had them talking about a scene that was nothing but F bombs. When they got to editing, they realized that they'd shot it without Billingsly on the set, and he was the voice of reason that kept them from just saturating the film with filthy language. "Peter B wasn't around, so we just went way overboard."

Its all callbacks and flashbacks and references which is fine because there's no real story...and it's what people want for nostalgia's sake.

It's 100% dependant on people seeing and loving the original which most have...but, the movie sort of just makes you want to go back and rewatch the original. I doubt I'd ever rewatch this.

Just watched it. Perfectly complements the original story line. In my opinion, a must watch.
