There are still moments if magic on Oscar broadcasts.... Just as with the movie compilations... But they are far far fewer than they used to be.
I remember fondly of the late 90s when movies were still incredible with quality and the whole night just had a majestic feel to it... Now if feels like a funeral... Waiting for someone to pounce.
