Hard to argue with that but it's such a shame that Dunkirk and Blade Runner 2049 came out in the same year. Both were pure eargasms.

Mixing is the operating the levels of the different sounds like voices, sound effects, etc. and moving them up and down and adding treble, bass, etc.
Editing is splicing the already mixed audio from scene to scene and inside the scenes themselves.
