I still quote the “my fingers hurt…” lines when somebody is complaining. It’s the first time I remember seeing him. How much of his acting career does he owe to this role on Haply Gilmore?

Stiller also had been the star villain in Heavyweights.
He was a known commodity at this point, but wasn't yet a gigantic name like he would be after There's Something About Mary.
