This season is drawing about half the viewers that 24 did at its all-time highs (season 5) and fewer than season 8 drew. Which is a shame because this season has been some of 24's best work imo.

Update to previous post. This article claims that DVR viewings are skewing the numbers, and 24 actually has as many viewers as ever, even challenging American Idol for FOX's most-viewed show.

I believe that they are going to fast forward a bit in the finale. It won't be real time. They said that at the very beginning when they first announced the limited series. So if that's true then they can afford all that stuff having happened since we skip.

The coffin scene was in daylight, though so it looks like they are going to make it "24" and fast forward to 11 AM sometime at the end.

The name of the episode on IMDB is 10PM - 11AM, so there will almost surely be a time jump during the episode.

Just finally catching up to this episode after being out the country. "The only death on my head tonight is yours..."
arse first, still has me laughing. A couple other things of note, the band-aid on the severe wound Jack created on the Prez and Jack unnecessarily pistol whipping the SS guy to where Prez says, "Jesus, Jack!"
This show is awesome. I think I'm gonna have to watch all the seasons now.

I really have no idea what to expect. I think Heller dies because we saw a casket draped with the flag in the previews, and the president or an active duty military member are usually the only people that can get that type of burial. I think there's an outside chance Jack dies, but I don't think Fox would want to end any chance of another season. At least, that's what I hope.
I'm expecting a twist of some sort...maybe Chloe or Audrey turns on Jack.
