Great stuff and a hell of lot better than I anticipated.
The Spinners were a killer group. You can make a good case that their song “I’ll Be Around” was one of the best singles of the ‘70’s too.

In this clip she sings some Bad Company and KISS. It's from her 1980 TV Special called Encore!
Interesting note, the outfit she wears while singing the KISS song is the same one Gene wore in the film Never Too Young To Die. He played Velvet Von Ragnar, a psychopathic, murderous gang leader who also happens to be a hermaphrodite. I kid you not. (The film also stars John Stamos, Vanity and former Bond, George Lazenby)
