Why did Spencer jump off the train rather than throw the dead hobos off the train and ride it out?

exactly what i thought. even if he wasn't going all the way to Cali, he didn't need to jump off right away.

Also, jumping off of a train going that fast and just waking away?

But, I'm guessing this is how he crosses path the the Rainwater girl?

The train station begins with a dead sex slave?

Seems like Banner is starting to regret getting involved with Whitfield.
Hey look one of my whores killed this other whore, carry her naked arse out to the car and dump her in that spot we talked about.

This is just beyond over the top at this point. I mean how much hell on earth and bad luck can two ppl go through just traveling to Montana in 1923 and they still won’t make it for another 3 episodes!

I still watch but the continuous out of the frying pan into the fire of these shows gets so exhausting sometimes.

I'm sorry but for that time period and all the shite Spencer has went through if a group of hobos on a train is still talking shite to me while I'm loading a shotgun right in front of them I'm just killing the 3 of them and getting some sleep.

Would have been way more believable if they were nice to him then tried to jump him while he was asleep.

Yeh traveling in 1923 would have been pretty damn straightforward

The farthest the train would have gone non stop back then would have been around 100 miles. More likely is 50 as they would have had to stop for water, for the steam locomotive, and possibly even less as they might have to stop to meet another train.

I'd have to look again to be sure, but I appeared the railroad was Santa Fe. Fort Worth was not on the ATSF's transcontinental route so "to the ocean" on that train was not happening.

Saying that, the ATSF did not go the direction he needs to go. Unfortunately for Spencer, he didn't run into the Fort Worth and Denver RR yard.

Not a short trip back in 1923 over dirt roads in late winter with a Model T.

Not a bad episode

Probably the worst one so far.

How did any of the stories move forward in this episode?

Ok, the drill into a guy's head and 5 minutes later he gets up- total bullshite

Indian girls' picture is plastered every 5 ft near the chuckwagon and not 1 of the 100's of cowboys there recognizes her- total bullshite

The only thing that we learned from this episode is that the train station dumping grounds started in 1923 with a choked out whore.

I like that they spend time on all 4 of the story lines.

Alex and Spencer's separate treks to Montana

The Rainwater chick's trek which apparently leads to Montana

And happenings on the ranch and with Whitfield.

the problem is, they don't have enough episodes in the season to do them all justice.

Things need to pick up in a hurry if this show is really ending in 4 episodes.

Elizabeth being pregnant again is really throwing off the lineage.
If Tate is the 7th generation Dutton then he comes from the Jack/Elizabeth line and not Spencer/Alex.
I’d rather John, Casey, and Tate to come from Spencer.

I was about to fact-check you but your math is correct. If Spencer was the direct descendant to John III, that would make Tate only the 6th Gen.

What that means is Jack will be the one that loses his leg at some point is the future. (John III explained this to Casey and "the Rock")

Seriously, first thing I said was just go ahead and blast them and toss their bodies off the train. Baw is openly telling you to your face that “as soon as you fall asleep we will rob you and probably kill you” yet you just try to have a stare down before ultimately fall asleep?

Spencer can be such a frustrating dumbass sometimes

I hate myself, but I really like the Banner character

Was his wife implying that he kill Timothy Dalton? There’s no way he could pull that off and people respect him.

I must be in the minority, but I really like this show even though it’s a slow burn. I was kind of sad Spencer left that girl on the train. I was hoping he would bring her on his adventures

Same. I look forward to it every weekend, btu then after watching I am like damn. Still haven't got much.

I would have just shot those two bums and dumped then and enjoyed free ride to where ever.

The Sheriff in Fort Worth pissed me off . He tricked Spencer into getting into the car, but as soon as he did it, I knew something was about to happen to him. It would have made too much sense for him to just driven to the train station. They had to drag it out some kind of way in natrual fashion.

It’s getting boring. They need to pick up the pace and stop dragging it out.

I wish they would do a Yellowstone spin off or do the 6666 spin off.

They are. It's a Beth and Rip spinoff. I believe they are about to start filming.

I agree it is getting boring but I am out on a Yellowstone or 6666 spin off.
