Oh she absolutely may die, but I don’t think the family tree proves that

Before the trailers leaked for 1923, Jacob and Cara weren’t in the family tree either

Umm, but we do

We know James Dutton is Kevin costners great great grandfather. Which means john II has to belong to Jack

If John II belonged to Spencer, then Tim McGraw would only have been the great grandfather

Maybe Spencer and Alex have a kid but something happens to them and Jack raises the child as his own. It's possible that Jack is John Dutton I though but it seems they're setting Spencer and Alex up to be the source of a lot of the crazy that the 2023 Duttons have.

What's odd is that in the 1920's you could just own a ranch by hiring a bunch of mercenaries and taking it by force.

Does not make sense that they steamed under power for at least 6 hours. To then drift back back to the ghost ship in about 3.

It does not work that way.

I took it as a different ship. But maybe not.

this was my first thought.

This ship is just drifting, right? How fast do they drift? Trying to figure out why he couldn't get out of it's way.

Spencer's GF may be the best part of the show. And she seems to enjoy being naked.

The timing between Yellowstone and Spencer's world is hard to keep up with. She's reading the letter and they show the capsized boat. But, is the time difference still 3 months like it was when they read the letters in bed?

Spencer did send a telegram to Cara saying he was on the way home….

I presume they survived

This time he sent a cable. I’m assuming those only take days or a week or so to reach the recipient. If so I’m guessing she was reading it at the same time the boat wreck occurred.

I believe they are on the same timeline now. Both have jumped around a lot (not showing all of Jacob’s healing, the wedding date coming and going…), but I think that it is going something like this:

1. She sent Spencer the letter. It took a long time to get to him, and he read it 3 months later. Let’s just say he read it 6 months after it was written.

2. They make their way to the port, and he sends a cable (much faster) that he is coming home. They get on the tugboat the same day.

3. The next day, the cable reaches Montana, and the boat capsizes.

makes everything a lot easier to follow.

Was Jacob the inventor of cardio exercise?

Female suicide seems to be a thing with Sheridan. T Kayce's sister in law, James' sister in 1883. And now Emma Dutton in 1923.
