B) Guilty and so unnecessary. Why would you waste your ammo when you’re safe on the boat unless those sharks are from Sharknado.

Why were the sharks ramming the boat? Was the captain still inside?

Won’t be effective, but I bet most people would have done that in that situation.

Snoozefest.

I may be in the minority, but the Africa shite has never fit well to me and this trip home is going to take a few episodes, at a minimum, I'm guessing.

My baser instincts, when it comes to these shows in the "Yellowstone Universe", wants shite getting fricked up in Montana. The swings away from that to Safari Man are jarring.

And having sharks was the least surprising thing yet.

You are not in the minority. The last 2 episodes have done very little, if nothing at all, in advancing the story line. It's just overly slow at this point.

I really liked the Africa storyline and even the Rain Water girl story line. We have gone 2 episodes now and Spencer isn't any where close to home. You can advance the trip quickly while still showing it takes a while to travel.

Rain Water girl hasn't encountered the 3 Priest posse after 2 episodes of them in pursuit.

Only Jacob and Cara's storylines have inched forward, a little.

The 1st 4 episodes were fantastic and now these last 2 have been horrible. Typical Sheridan peek-a-boo story telling. It's suffocating.

Tyler Sheridan needs to watch The Last of Us to get schooled up on on proper pacing, character development, storytelling, and good dialogue. Tyler is very talented, but he needs more help and less "yes" men producers.

But it didn't drag over the next episodes.

I disagree. I’m more interested in Spencer and Alex than anything else.

The producers hit home runs with those actors.

While this episode didn't have a lot of action, it laid the groundwork for what may be to come. You have to have those episodes, you cant have constant action.

1. We are seeing the struggle getting back to Montana for Spencer and Alex. I believe Spencer will be the next Patriarch of the Dutton family. I imagine that now that they are on a proper sea vessel, we will fast forward to their arrival at NOLA or NYC.

2. The Sheriff now knows and will get involved.

3. We are witnessing the birth of the "livestock agents" which the Dutton family seem to always be in charge of.

However, I also thing TS has given us some hints at what may be in store.

I think Elizabeth will have some kind of misarrange or other complication due to injuries from the ambush.

I also think that Alex is already knocked up and will lead to Spencer being the future Patriarch on as Elsa said of her brothers "one will lead the family through the Great Depression and every other Hell the 20th Century throws at them"

It looked like, but you're right. They were also drifting because the captain had passed and the engines weren't running. They would have been going roughly the same speed. If it was a different ship under power though they wouldn't have ran them over, and if they somehow did they would have felt it and rendered aid.
tall ships can act like sail boats.... an empty barge in the wind creates a harder impact than a fully loaded heavier barge.

and how do you know that...... oohh yea you dont.

Im not saying he isnt.... but that is not settled in the story yet.

Im saying Why have this new hero brother, who is battling demons, and finding love, and seeming ready to change his way of life, not be the linage that comes down.

I wonder if my downvoters are gonna come eat crow when im right?

One small gripe I have is that Jacob Dutton and John Dutton are more or less the exact same character. Literally everything that Jacob does, and his reasoning/reactions, are the exact same as what John Dutton would do. The story is about the evolution of the Dutton family, but it seems like they just switched actors 100 years later.

Enough to catch up with a tug boat (remember they had already passed it and were under power) in the open seas and capsize it?

Nah, not happening.

Doesn't really matter though, other than more Peter Stormare is always a good thing, sucks he only had one episode.

I think the Duttons are going to end up with all of the land the banker has been buying up somehow..

In 1923 they dont have as much land as in Yellowstone. Jacob is standing in the front yard of the house and points and is talking about someone else's land they are starting to mine on. In Yellowstone they own everything you can see from the house.
