I didn’t think Sheridan was that bad and I’m not a big fan of him.
I had a hard time following where he came from though.
I didn't even notice him in this episode, who was he?

Episode 8 Dropped.
Title: The Weep of Surrender
"As winter looms, Shea faces doubts and argues with James about the best way forward. Elsa makes a bold, beautiful decision that changes her forever."
I'll wait until a few people chime in.

I thought it was a good episode.
Elsa is getting better looking with each episode. On that horse with the new Comanche duds, wind blowing in her hair…
Kind of reminds me of Khaleesi:
Lightning with the Golden Hair, Killer of Buffalo, Breaker of Daddy’s Chains…

If only she would stop talking.

But her story line is starting to annoy. Especially with her Dances with Wolves moment. To much focus on her and starting to miss the mark for me.

Ya its not like the Comanche’s were a quiet peace loving people before the whites came along.

Sheridan is laughably bad, like hallmark movie bad in this

Yep. I'm losing interest very very quickly. I'll give it one more episode

It looks like by the end of the episode they had fast forwarded to them arriving at the Oregon Trail with the path carved out.
It may be that the Open scene of the series MAY take place on her way Back to Sam since her father and other key people are no where in site.

So much for mourning Ennis. She’ll frick a horse if it whinnies at her.

This show has lost me.
Ennis got killed a week ago, now Elsa is marrying this Comanche?
Comanches were the most hostile Indians on this continent, yet they’re playing patty cake with the wagon train.
I don’t care if the herd was only 10, Buffalo down in Oklahoma/Texas were fricking gone in 1883. Done.
Writing is dog shite, her yelling out I love you in Comanche was the cringiest thing I’ve ever seen
Did they fast forward to Wyoming? Why do I care anyways, I’m out

The wife and I threw in the towel when she married the Comanche. This girl has no sense and her parents less so.
Now she just going to play Comanche with a bunch of people up to Montana?
This arc is so unnatural. She is a borderline whore at this point. Last two men she met she slept with and 1883 wasn't exactly sexually progressive.
The father would have a firmer hand then just accepting a horse for trade of his daughter. This guy was an actual Confederate. Whole thing is bozo.

I only watched two seasons of Yellowstone but the way I see Elsa is that she is sort of the origin mould of Beth Dutton, the wild child of Kevin Costner.

I think you have to keep in mind that the each episode may not be the next day. In the beginning of the episode Elsa said they had been there 3 days. That’s 3 days from the Tornado. They don’t give us time stamps so we have ni clue how much time passed after Ennis’ death.
Also, it appears to me at the end when they get to the “Trail” Shea says, “we just may pull this off”
That tells me that they fast forwarded who knows how long.

Guys, the broad strokes of this show are really bad.

Sheridan is cringe
The saying I love you in Comanche was cringe
I gotta go read Empire of the Summer Moon again. One of the best books I’ve read

After the first 3 episodes I thought this show was going to be a classic
It has been pretty bad to be honest. I’m disappointed
