So them doing Sweet Child Of Mine didn't want to make you cut off your ears?

And that little gay kid was annoying as hell which is why I've only seen an episode of it

Nope. I knew guys like you would jump on it. I really thought some people would actually want to discuss it though.

My ex made me watch an episode and it was just awful disney show shite with no substance and even shittier music.

I have no idea what would bring a self-respecting man to watch that show, may God have mercy on your soul.

I'd say the reason I despise Glee is its creator and he let it evolve into gay propaganda. I mean, that's absurd and what far right retards say about any show with a gay character... But this show was all out gay propaganda really. The creator is such a douchebag that he literally thought he was providing a public service rather than a fun TV show. He basically thought that every man, woman, and child should be blowing him and constantly thanking him for what he did.

Was this posted on the OT? I've never seen people berate someone so much for wanting to talk about a show. We've got a 100+ page SOIAF thread, a huge dragon ball Z thread, and half the board (me included) is now rewatching Pokemon yet he is gay for watching one season of Glee?

You're right. In the second season, once Blaine came in it was downhill after that.

Half of the stuff on that list I've been saying about Glee for over two years. Not trying to gay it up even more, but Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy did this same type off stuff. It just took them longer.

I have seen exactly one episode of Glee.

I guess it was season 1.

Some dumb shite was meeting his GFs parents for the first time and broke into song about she was having his bastard baby during dinner. He and his girl were seemingly shocked the father was pissed off.

I can't watch a show with characters as stupid as that even if an actress I find really funny like Jane Lynch plays a major role.

I could see why her character seems to hate the students though. They're friggin morons.

I enjoyed season one. It was something new and different and my girlfriend liked it so it was something we could watch together. Jane Lynch's character (Sue something) was a riot. The gay kid's dad was almost heroic.

Somewhere in season two it started to suck and get too preachy and I quit watching.

I didn't know it was still on the air until I saw this thread.

I agree. It's only gotten worse since then. My wife wilkl still occasionally watch it, and while I could enjoy an episode here or there during season 1, I cannot watch it at all now.

I'm male, play several instrument, been around music all my life, and secure enough in my masculinity that I actually enjoy some musicals. My wife sang in choir in high school, so we watched the show when it first came on, and it was fairly enjoyable. I liked seeing them get guest star actors to perform on the show.

I stopped watching Glee when they decided to make it a nonstop gay rights parade of every gay cliche in the book. You want to be accepted? Act like you've been there before and quit making a big deal about it.

I watched an episode and had wanted to beat the next colonial toddy I seen. It was beyond terrible and the whole football team picks on the band was super gay. The characters and everything about it screamed liberal hippy homosexual.

Thanks for the objective review. I have not checked it out because the title invoked your summary. You might well have saved me from a painful experience.

I agree with the OP. It was a pretty good show for a season and a half, then took a complete nose dive. I never finished the second season.

Yep. It's basically gay high school. Even the straight characters experimented at least once.

sorry i don't watch but my wife loves it. i'm not saying you're a homo for watching (although that seems a little prevalent theme in this thread) it's just not my cup o tea.

my wife will call me in the room and rewind it for most of brittany's (is that the airhead cheerleader's name?) one liners. and i do laugh at that stuff.

i'm sure jane lynch is awesome too but i'm usually getting in some PS3 time when she watches.

she has said that she thinks some of the recent episodes are subpar.

at least that's what she says when i ask her post episode, "how was gleeeeeeeeee???!!!!" in a gay voice while making jazz hands at her.

I was pretty much in the same boat. Enjoyed it for awhile and then it just became pretty meh.

I loved season 1 of Glee. It was light, fun, and the show didn't take itself to seriously. That all changed pretty quickly whe Ryan Murphy turned it into an after school special. Ryan Murphy is a self inflated hypocrite, he wants to cry about gays and bullying and show the "consequences" of such actions, yet when the gay people on the show bully others it's NBD (Sue, Santana, Kurt, etc).

I watched the first few episode this season out of curiousity for what the new characters would be like. Let me tell you, they are pretty terrible. The Quinn replacement is AWFUL.
