I don’t care about Duke paying him, I just love watching him play

That $900k house ain’t free.

And I’m sure there was at least “six figures” in cash under the mattresses in that new house

Random thought... I think Coach K is as slimy as it gets. He reminds me somewhat of PM ... good sweet soft-spoken nice guy in the public eye but a dick behind closed doors

I am still waiting for someone to show me something about this house. Any link besides a random UK fan's tweet with a generic McMansion would be a nice start.

People forget they had high schoolers coming straight away and washing out at a pretty high rate.

the first 10 or so were all very good. You know the actual elite of the elite prospects. IIRC johnathon Bender was the first bust. But before the him the success rate was pretty much perfect

Duke doesn't have to pay athletes when Coach K can walk into a recruit's house and say "here are the thousands of extremely influential alumni who will be more than happy to take care of you and your family if basketball doesn't pan out."

But they do, and Zion is one of them.

CBS Sports

"Hey," said Code, according to his attorney, Mark Moore. "Between me and you, you know, he asked about some stuff. You know?"

Who is "he?" Zion Williamson's father, per Moore's courtroom account. "I know what he's asking for," Code continued. "He's asking for opportunities from an occupational perspective, he's asking for cash in the pocket and he's asking for housing for him and his family."

"I've got to just try to work and figure out a way because if that's what it takes to get him here for 10 months, we're going to have to do it some way," Townsend said.

he absolutely is. Is he a 4 in today's NBA? I think his success in the 90s would have been incredible. his body type may have been better suited then. I'm excited to see how it turns out
