The Jets want to make a switch at QB. The team is leaning towards Zach Wilson to take over, but he is reluctant to stepping back in, sources tell @zackBlatt and me. The team is discussing next steps. More on @theathletic shortly.

Who can blame him?

The offense and playcalling are arse, all of the WRs except one are arse, the OL is mega arse, and he just gets dragged by fans and media all day. I'd tell them to frick off too

Good for him. The coach or GM benched him for a shittier backup in what now appears to be an attempt to prove a point or teach Wilson a lesson or something. I thought they had done that to protect Wilson.

They've jerked him around but he also sucks and this is probably the last time a team will want him to start him in the NFL.

There was a video of Wilson laughing his arse off at the Jets incompetence yesterday. He looks a million times happier on the bench. Can't blame him for not wanting anything more to do with that shitshow.

If my QB has no confidence then he’s not my QB

He needs a fresh start somewhere

He's doubtless rewatched a bunch of game films and felt every rush, every sack and every broken play that his substitute suffered through.

That’s his choice but he should also forfeit his game checks for refusing to play while healthy. Of course he will just fake an injury and the NFLPA will back him.
