I applaud what YoutubeTV is doing by not caving and I will enjoy the temporary decrease in my monthly subscription price.
Plus, I have the ESPN app on the Roku. It takes care of all of what I would have lost and with Disney’s apps, I have everything I need.
I would probably be happy if they never work out a deal TBH. I bet many of us have double-dipped on services.

Your espn app won’t work without the yttv subscription

The only thing I stream for free is sports games. Which if there was a way to do that for a reasonable price then I would, but I'm not paying an extra $45/mo for it like hulu wants (thats

for one applaud youtubeTV for distancing itself from the liberal filth and i expect to see their subscription numbers rise as the silent majority recognizes this great act
I can’t tell if this is serious or not.
YTTV is owned by Google. Not exactly a bastion of conservatism.

I mean, I enjoy binge watching bowl games this time of year.
This sucks. But there are ways around it.

Trying out fubu tv now. Same price as YouTube tv. If YTV doesn’t figure it out before the 7 day trial ends:
I think YTV is about to get fricked. Not sure their angle exactly

Yeah I'm going to be research today.
I really really like the DVR capabilities of YTTV. Think that's what sold me last time I was in the market. So that part is going to suck

Fubu Tv is $65 with 250 hours or $70 with unlimited DVR space. Has slightly better channel lineup too

You can get espn+ channels, just not any of the ones that are on YouTube tv like secn, espn, espn2, espnu, etc. This is a down time of sports for me personally as I don’t watch the nba and couldn’t give two shits about the bowl games. Also really don’t care about abc and have Disney plus already separately.
Fubo would be my second choice if I switched from my research. Hulu plus live tv is more expensive and looks just not as flexible.

Probably trying to keep from having to do price increase.

Looks like their family share that comes with all the plans has three concurrent streaming devices as well.

It’s not just ESPN. It’s all ABC channels including the Disney ones. People are going to wake up tomorrow and flip their shite. YTTV about to take this one on the nose.
I have never once seen one of these situations and blamed the streaming service/cable provider. I always blame the “channel.”
It’s not like I like dish/direct/yttv/sling or am defending them. It’s just that the cost increases are coming from the channels upping their costs all the while adding more commercials and ads every year.

The streaming service I use is 23.99 a month and it has all the Bally Sports, NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL packages.

In lieu of my cable bill which was $40 more per month for less content, YouTube tv has been great.
This sucks though, and they will need to get it resolved real quick.
